Closer than to Collingwood. Where is it then? Richmond

Technically it's in Melbourne, Richmond cuts off at Punt Road. And it's still closer to Collingwood than it is Toorak by about 1km. Also a very weird hill to die on when you look at how far both our current and future home base is from Hawthorn.

Oh we are being serious? Sorry we need a spoiler alert

What is everyones opinion on Rowell?

He cracks in obviously, but how much class does he have? His numbers are pretty meh for a bloke who does not separate himself with any match winning magic.
I don't think he's any better than Worpel, perhaps he is able to get it a bit more, but I think he lacks polish. Dodgy ball drop, dodgy handball. Every side needs someone which elite in tight ball winning, which he has, but I think compared to others in that role, Worpel, Viney, Tom Mitchell, Libba he is a rung below and I wouldn't go all out on that type.

Cripps, Bont big mid types that can push forward, or smash through a contest yes. Elite users you can get heaps on the outside and make excellent decisions and hit targets like Daicos yes. But I wouldn't give a farm for a bash and crash little handball out type.

probably true right now but he was an animal on the inside this year coming back from injuries... I think he can be one of the premier inside players... does need more tricks tho

Bomber nuff getting a bit ahead of themselves

He’s certainly not become the star he looked like he might have been.

He’s still the best two way contested mid in the comp. Tackles, clearances and contested possessions he’s in the top 6 in the comp. Just has nothing when the ball gets outside the contest.

He’s got a very similar skill set to Cripps without the size of Cripps (the one thing Cripps has going for him) but a better defensive side.

Poor bastard - could be a star yet he's saddled with injury and having to play for Norf.
You'd think Clarko would be sourcing / employing the same training methods we had for Cyril when his hammies kept pinging. Wardlaw could seriously be anything if his body let him.

Good ol Richmond, want to turn a failed defender turned failed forward into a defender. 😂

Jacob Koschitzke failed to make a lasting impression as a forward in his debut Richmond season last year, and the Tigers’ coaching panel has since made the call to trial him in defence. The former Hawthorn key forward has played in the back half this pre-season during match simulation and given Noah Balta’s absence for the first four games due to suspension, and pending the short-term health of Josh Gibcus, Koschitzke will be in the frame for early-season senior action as a defender.

Wouldn't you?

I mean, seriously, wouldn't you?

Other clubs. Other people's choices.

Except a member of a decent team.
