What happened to the jumper punch podcast? I was enjoying that. The last episode got pretty spicy. Best case scenario it got suspended, or worse there could be hate speech repercussions. I'm genuinely concerned for them. But onto geelong.. actually I should start by acknowledging the traditional owners of my keyboard, Krazy Larry's Komputers on Maroondah Hwy. Thanks Uncle Larry. Maybe next time don't start a fire that close to the stock. I mean the whole place could go up. Here are the facts:

Channel 7 commentators have spoken about geelong recruits getting cheap land deals. They sort of talked about it under their breath like it was a dirty little secret. In fact they sort of nervously chuckled as they spoke of it. This I remember clearly.

Ablett Jr is now working in real estate.

Ken Wood was given his marching orders around 2021 or 2.

News services in 2006 reported geelong becoming a ghost town. People were leaving in droves.

Those are facts. This is opinion:

Geelong needs a successful team for the morale of that town, and when there's political pressure for a team to be successful, so it will be. Wood was probably half way down the geelong road when he learned of his sacking. Will Geelong meet a similar fate to the storm? I wouldn't be surprised.

No. The guy stole government money.

I assume him sponsoring Geelong was his way of putting things right and ensuring the money got where it was really intended.

I guess you could call it stealing government money if you consider robbing a pensioner is also stealing government money...

He (allegedly) stole $14.5m from a charity who work with disabled people.

It was a poorly landed joke.

The guy's clearly a scumbag of the highest order.

If he really want to make money he should have joined a bikie gang and rorted hundreds of millions out of the NDIS with zero oversight (I read that bikie gangs now make more money out of NDIS rorts than selling drugs). He did it all wrong.

Rort Crown and get your name in the Guinness World Record? That's just good business.

In 2015, Nguyen helped set a Guinness World Record when he consumed the world’s most expensive cocktail – a $12,500 drink known as “The Winston” – at Crown’s former venue Club 23. Nguyen did not finish the drink, made with 1858-vintage Croizet Cuvee Leonie cognac, and was reimbursed for the entire cost of the cocktail by Crown Resorts.
