Great game by Caddy as well....

Go Catters

Won't be remembered as ugly though, deep into the future will be a win + I'll take an ugly win over an elegant loss, any day ;)

Will happily take a scrappy win. :thumbsu:

Wondered who would pick up the slack in our midfield today with Selwood out-well done to Duncan (beautiful return game) and Caddy for their contributions.

Thought the trio who re-signed during the week had really encouraging games, as did Kolo. Good signs for the future.

Given the Dogs have had some great wins to date this season, I'll go home very pleased with the win.

Great return to footy by Duncan. Kolo look pretty handy at times, caddy was massive in the middle and I thought walker stood up a little for us today.

Good win considering where we have been in the last couple of weeks, so pretty happy now.

Good grinding win.

Caddy and Mitch, you feel they really enjoy playing together. Thought Blitz was great today in the ruck, albeit not against a Goldstein - 31 hit outs though, career high? Seemed to put the ball in the spots too. Thought Kolo was solid, stood up in some really important passages in the last quarter.

Amazing workrate by caddy. Thought blitz was great in the ruck.

Murdoch, whilst not on the scoreboard like some of his best for us, I thought some of his play around the contest was magnificent.

Guthrie was good. Duncan great after the lay off, but I think fitness showed in the end

Caddy BOG by a fair margin.

We won against a good team, so I'm happy with that. Ball use was terrible at times, but also good at others. Some of our run/transition play was a pleasure to watch (as was the Bulldogs). Overall, I think we played a smarter game and our defenders were much better this week. Kolo looks like he'll be a good player. Caddy had his best game at the Cattery even though his kicking was terrible at times. Duncan slotted in very well and showed flashes of his ability, so that was pleasing. Motlop made a few clangers but kicked goals when we needed them the most. Guthrie also had a great game, and Blicavs continues to impress no end.

Go Cats

Yeah- career high for Blitz. Previous best was 25

Also on Murdoch.
When he re-signed he mentioned wanting to become more of an inside midfielder which I thought would never happen because he never seemed to go hard much over his career from what I remember.
But today there was a few times where Murdoch was very impressive inside getting the ball out to a teammate or finding some space with his speed very good!

It could've, but maybe, just maybe, the coach and MC had better data and judgement than us here on which to base their decision

There have been a number of examples of it working out poorly, and it did seem like they rushed him back in after an injury, so I don't so the problem with being skeptical of the decision to play him. It worked out this time; it doesn't work out all the time.
