Weeeeeeeeeeak-ahh
Angus Monfries luckiest bloke in Australia

Obviously the problem is between the ears.

Every time a team comes at us, we panic. It's the "Oh, Shit, here we go again" mentality. Teams starved of success suffer it all the time. We are the classic case at the moment.

We have let the opposition get a big run on in every game this year other than the gold coast game. Even GC kicked the first 3 or 4. I said to someone at work today "we might be in fromt but Essendon will get a big run at some pont. Sure enough...

What a joke!

It has been such a sad collapse, for me at the very least, it'd rank right up there.

We played out of our skins in the first half and bombers didn't turn up. They came out stronger in the second half no doubt about it. We lost johncock in the first few minutes if the second quarter. And jaensch in the third. Both had been inspirational in our first half. And we've definitely run out of legs in this quarter - but we had our chances. How many points did we kick this quarter? Not a sad collapse, disappointing yes, but those boys tried their hearts out today.

And we freaked out... Panic set in and old ways with it.

Stiffy and Special J hurt but from the position we were in and how dominant we were it shouldnt have mattered.

This post epitomises everything that's wrong with the attitude permeating from the club at the moment.

Near enough simply is.not.good.enough.

We were 36 points up at half time (realistically we should have been 10 goals up) and we lost the game. That's unacceptable in almost any circumstances. We weren't playing a Geelong or Collingwood here, we were playing a team that NEVER wins at AAMI.

We need to stop accepting shit like this.

What else can you say? One of the worst collapses in memory. Losing from 6 goals up at half time is inexcusable under any circumstance. Yes, we lost Stiffy and Jaensch but to fall away and give up at home is depressing as it comes. I'm sick of the club accepting mediocrity and "brave" losses. We didn't win and that is not good enough.

It seems like you guys had no one to kick to in the forward line except for Dangerfield and Tippet. I don't really follow Adelaide much but what happened to Walker?

You people need to take a good hard look at yourselves, that was NOT a disgraceful performance from those boys today. Bombers were favorites for heavens sake. They are in the 8 and we are 14th. Get a frigging grip.

No Jenny, YOU need to take a good hard look at yourself.

Effort wise it was an improvement in the first half but the capitulation was still unacceptable.

Stop justifying the loss.
