Why we excuse this sort of behaviour cause it’s on the pitch is beyond me. I understand scuffles break out because tensions are high, and players are going to throw jumperies, but once people start knocking players out or breaking jaws/teeth with full blooded punches, with no warning, no leniency in my mind.
