What else can we do? Proper governance is to act in best interest of club. Imagine if it turns out to be worst case scenario and we (the club) had done sweet fa?The most interesting part of the Age article is that it says we (Carlton) reported the issue to the AFL integrity unit.

I miss the old days when one of our scandals only brought down a federal government.It’s an odd one for me because I’ve been pleased with his work as President but all stories about him outside of football club business don’t make for spectacular reading.

“Mr Sayers did not post an image to his X account on 8 January 2025. When he was alerted that his social media had been hacked, he immediately disabled all of his accounts and engaged legal counsel. Mr Sayers acknowledges the distress of everyone impacted by this shocking incident,” the spokesperson said.
“Mr Sayers and the club have been engaging with the AFL integrity unit, and he will continue to deal with this issue without further public comment.”
He’s really putting his wang on the line.Well… it seems our man Sayers is doubling down that he didn’t post the image (from the Age article). So let’s buckle in and see where the whole thing leads.
