I really like Papalia; just calls the game without the bias and need to incite some faux excitement like BT, Brayshaw, Darcy who are just cheerleaders for the Victorian clubs.

Love footy free Thursdays!
You've got it wrong on him Grasshopper.Struggles to describe the game accurately and succinctly whilst in congestion/chaos, and struggles to nail the big moments.
I've got to admit to an unexpected fetish.Love footy free Thursdays!
think the queensland and nsw clubs should push for thursday night games to be all year round and for a queensland / nsw club to be guaranteed to appear on the thursday.... nrl plays on thursdays for their entire season so it would make sense to be trying to compete for viewers if afl is serious about growing the game up north.I've got to admit to an unexpected fetish.
I quite enjoy the Thursday night games.
BRAB is this you?
Another Thursday night with no footy. You have blown it, AFL.
I read a book while watching some of the BMW international, was a lovely evening!
Matt Clinch [ABC]: 19 year old Nate Caddy just told Jonathan Brown he was born in 2005 so missed most of his career. His idols were Roughead & Curnow.

Levi doesn't know his Lions history.. LOL! He should have had Vossy a no hesitation number 1.
I agree that the radio commentary is better, but we think they are doing the same job and really they aren't. TV commentary is trying to add the game that you are seeing around you rather than giving you a play by play. The other strange thing about footy broadcasters is that every time I see the vision with the radio broadcast feed the radio broadcasters are extremely accurate nearly every time whereas the TV ones often have no idea.
Which means the TV networks think there's more value in personalities rather than accurate broadcasters.
