What's everyone's biggest win in this game? Obviously it's not like FIFA where you can chuck it on amateur and bang in 15-20 goals for a laugh.
I'm doing a season with Barnet, was sitting just above relegation after 5 straight losses, came up against the top side (Cheltenham) away from home. And managed to somehow absolutely wreck them 9-2. The score at the 24 minute mark was 2-2 and then i just blew them away (Was 4-2 up at half time, they got a red in the 50th and then from there i belted in 5 more). What's everybody else's largest win?

Won a friendly against a team 36-0 I think. Pretty sure I still have the screen shot.
Holy crap. Was that like on a tour of the Solomon Islands or something? haha

I think I played Bury with a legends DB. Had Di Stefano, Zidane, Henry etc running about. I'll try and find it next time I am on the computer.

I can't recall anything like a 9-2 (or 36-0 for that matter!), I've had big friendly wins like 14-0 off the top of my head.

Your story reminded me of one game I played, can't remember who I was playing, might have been one of the A-League teams, and around the 70th minute we were losing 3-0, so I put on the last of my subs, I might have whacked it on overload, but maybe I didn't, I went and made a cup of coffee, came back, game was over and we had won 5-3, and I looked at the screen for a long time, trying to work out whether it was the same game I was looking at, I was momentarily disoriented, so sure enough, my pack of lardarses have scored five goals in like the last 12 minutes of the game, and I missed it.

I got one of those special Steam badges, winning after being 3 goals down, only time I can remember that happening.

Weird things happen in FM.

In friendlies I play the worst ranked sides I can find and play one every three days just to pump match fitness into everyone, but mainly to get morale high.

Yeh, during the season I sneak in friendlies everywhere, make sure we're playing 7 or 8 games every month. In the pre-season, my Asst Man accepts friendlies from some big clubs. That used to be a problem when we were crap, but these days I'm winning most of them, speaking of which, just had this come from behind win against Sevilla:

ps I've deleted the nick names, I've had this group of players for so long now, I should know a little about them

I do that too haha my first few friendlies i try organise games against PL sides in "leagues", so that i can make money off the TV rights etc (managed to score Everton, Arsenal and Chelsea in a league and then a few other leagues with PL/Championship/SPL teams and made about £400,000 pounds in TV rights). Then for the final 3 weeks before the season, i pump in like 7-8 friendlies against crappy local sides so i boost morale and fitness.

Season 2025-26
4th season in the Premiership
1st season in the Champion's League.

Relying on 19 year olds at Left back and in goals made it a bit easier for me to focus on what I needed during the off-season. I broke the Doncaster transfer fee record by paying 15 million pounds for:

Phillip Cocu thinks it was a smart move:

I went looking for some experience at left back and because Southampton had just been relegated, I picked up Charlie Taylor quite cheap:

Normally, I don't pay a lot of attention at the scouting reports in Sth America because, 1. most of them don't want to join a low rep club like Doncaster, and 2. the whole work permit business is usually a hassle. But on this occasion, found someone good enough to be our 3rd best midfielder, can also play defensive mid, and happened to have Austrian nationality, so that made the decision pretty easy:

So, about to start an exciting new season, our first in the Champion's League! I'm really confident about who we've drawn for the play-off:

Is there a recent manager game where you can play classical mode where it plays like manager 2001 and you don’t need to do all the training and that?

I loved the old school ones where it wasn’t as in depth and all you had to do was recruit players and set the formation. Would love to do that with the modern players.
