Came to the holiday house and found grass growing again where we cleared under the lemon tree . We spent a couple of hours trying to clear it. Still not finished. Going to get some weed control mats tomorrow morning. Hopefully they will stop anything more coming through .

The other day on the news they showed footage of a car hitting a kid. The car just drove away. Lucky the kid was ok. It was the kids fault for running onto the road without looking, but the driver should've stopped.

My next door neighbour uses a solution of vinegar, salt and dish detergent, so I tried that and it worked really well. I never go out into my courtyard so don't notice the weeds coming up. This time I've been keeping an eye on them. Hopefully the solution works again.

I recorded Once Upon a time in Hollywood years ago and still haven't watched it. Just checked my pvr and it was 1/10/2021 !!

Actually that was just before my dad passed away so that makes sense now.

We can't use weed killer because we don't want to kill the lemon trees. I wonder if the vinegar, salt and detergent solution is ok to use? Nope just checked and it will kill other plants too.
