The amount of crashes/freezes this game has for a console game is astonishing even worse they've been making this game since bloody 93 and been on the current gen since 07 and hardly changing a thing between each edition. Typical EA I guess.
 
This is where Pro Evo retains the title. I've only ever played one PES demo, so I'm not a fan boy... but these annoying crashes and glitches, combined with PES 2014's new engine could make things interesting.
 
Currently Playing Career mode with Manchester United. Got rid of Vidic and Ferdinand and Hernandez and Young and De Gea. Got Ramos for Vidic and 500k. Badstuber for 10mil and Ferdinand. Busquets for 4 mil + Hernandez and Neymar for Young and 10mil and Joe Hart for 10mil. I love the exchange of players option in Transfers this year. Also only get back 60% of transfers with the board.

Any scheduled patches? The amount of injuries is getting a bit tiresome. Still getting about 90% of my injuries in aerial duels. I can take it if it was a knock every now and then, but knee injuries once a game is getting a bit old.
 
There might be a big patch in January to coincide with the transfer market.

But to be honest, I only experienced six or seven injuries in my squad.. most of them being the guys who started every game. When blokes are playing 50+ matches a year, I'd say that's generous if anything.
 
Adebayor was on fire, 15 goals about halfway through. Barca offered 12 mil, upped it to 25, they came back with 17, upped it to 20 and they accepted. Managed to get Pato for 20mil + Jenas (lol), happy with that. Next on the cards is Neymar, but don't have enough $$ at the moment.

Kaboul was homesick so he requested a transfer, and ended up going to.. Newcastle ?

Need another central defender and a backup goalkeeper, as Friedal and Cudicini are both retiring, probably don't need Neymar as I have the Mouse and Sigurdson, but will turn out to be a much better player.

PES13 is full of crashes too. Lots of people have been experiencing crashes when playing Master League/Become a Legend.
 
Scored two ripper goals from the middle of the ground, the first was a "sympathy" goal when i was being walloped in an online game. I belted the ball out of frustration at the same time the other guy brought his GK up closer to the action. My kick managed to evade the defenders and went to the back of the net.

The next goal was similar, in a "drop in match" we had a full 11 vs 11 human player contest. We were down 2 - 1, i got possession of the ball and mistakingly hit the shot button instead of passing it. To my surprise it went at the back of the net.

I have had other random goals scored from stupidity, i hit the lob pass button from wayyyyyyyyy outside the box, it was like a Shane Warne leg break howler, and it bounced into the net for a goal.
 
FIFA 13 title update fixes Career Mode freeze, Online Seasons stability

FIFA 13 update rolls onto consoles this weekend, regular maintenance scheduled from tomorrow.

A title update for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of FIFA 13 will be released this weekend, fixing the game's Career Mode crash bug and connection issues related to Online Seasons.

"The FIFA 13 launch has seen the largest amount of daily online play for any game in EA history," said EA Sports on the FIFA 13 website. "Your feedback to date has already helped us optimize connectivity for users, as well as tweak applications and game modes."

In addition to fixing issues "that have had the biggest impact on our fans", EA Sports says that the title update will also update the stability of Game Face and the Ultimate Team Online Tournament Hub, and include a variety of other fixes.

Here's the full list of fixes included in the update:

  • Connection stability in Online Seasons when finding an opponent in the Arena, and at kick-off.
  • Career Mode freeze while starting a new career with free agents.
  • Career Mode hangs when using Game Face.
  • Stability in Career Mode when players retire or are being bought back from loan.
  • Users will no longer be able to lower difficulty settings in a FUT Seasons match.
  • Freeze in FUT Online Tournament HUB on PS3.
  • Napoli of Serie A will now have fully authentic kits and crests in FIFA and FIFA Ultimate Team.
  • Legacy defending and passing assistance options removed in Pro Clubs.
  • Freeze in Pro Clubs Results screen.
  • Matchmaking settings in Pro Clubs (with "ANY" and "Match Keeper") will provide the desired results.
  • Changes made in National Squad not properly reflected in Manager Mode screen.
  • (PC Only) Freeze while retrieving Hospitality Settings.

The title update is already available to download for the PC version.

Further updates for FIFA 13 are also planned to roll-out later this month, alongside ongoing "regular maintenance" from tomorrow.

"Some fans may wonder why we can't fix all the known issues at once," EA Sports continued. "That's a fair question and the answer isn't quite as simple.

"We are delivering improvements and fixes in such a way to ensure the millions of people playing FIFA 13 each day do not experience undue or overly lengthy network/server outages, that title updates and other improvements are done to a high quality, and that we're confident the changes will improve the FIFA 13 experience for everyone."
 
Sounds good, and it's nice to see a massive corporation actually do something for their customers (though it should be par for the course). Why didn't Napoli have official kits?

Yeah, that's wrong. I was kinda hoping that'd be our kit because the red is pretty jarring, but it seems it's not. There's a couple out, no sponsors for Adelaide, Central Coast and Wellington, while Sydney's says "webjet.co.au" rather than "webjet.com.au" (typical UK mistake)

Any of these going to help people with career mode freezing on certain dates? My career mode always freezing at the end of the season (May 31st) doesn't matter what save I'm in I can't get into a 2nd season, its the only reason I play the game as I can't play FUT as it freezes aswell after I choose my captain for the intro game.
 
Is it normal for h2h seasons games to be laggy at 1am? With Aussies going to sleep and all. Played 5 games and they were almost unplayable.

Not having a local matchmaking option is criminal. I don't care if it takes 10 minutes to find someone in Australia, I just want a smooth game.

Started my career with Plymouth Argyle in League 2. Manager just wouldn't rest me and my hamstring finally went twang. 3 months out.

My team mates first touch is awful. Took me a while to get the accomplishments to get a decent first touch now.
 
Was finally able to get past my freeze was something to do with loan to buy decisions so I had to ignore them. Got to the 2nd season and the board give me the objective of a mid table finish (as Arsenal) after I won the FA Cup, was in the final of the Champions Cup and came 2nd in the League 1 point behind Chelsea. They gave me 51 mill to spend but the glitch where the original loaned players don't come back after the 1st season has screwed me as my squad is full as I was planning on selling Park, Bendtner, Myiachi and a few others but I can't so I have no space in my squad. Henry just came to me and said he was tossing up whether to retire at seasons end aswell which pissed me off as he just signed a 1 year extension a few days earlier.

Goodwille killed me this morning. A hat-track in the first half. Ended up losing 3-2 to Palace in what's been an average start to season two: Two draws and a loss. I'm getting pretty frustrated, the keepers are saving everything (top and bottom corners at the opposite side of the goal, for example) and I haven't gotten a penalty.

I'll probably pick up the momentum a bit later, but jesus, I really want to play PL next season.

Oh, and I got an offer from Northern Ireland. Bolivia and Finland (or is it Iceland? Are they in FIFA?) are interested as well, so hopefully they send me an actual offer.
 
The transfer logic in this game ain't great.

Sold the young wonderkid Adryan for $45 million to Manchester Untied (his estimated worth was only $18 mill, but I had him in an awesome run of form) in the January transfer window in my 2nd season. Used that money to buy Lucas from Sao Paulo. When I played Man U 3 weeks later, he wasn't in the starting lineup or on the bench; so Man U basically paid $45 mill for someone that doesn't get a game. At the start of my 3rd season in the transfer window, I bought Adryan back... for $20 million.

So Man U basically threw $25 million down the shitter in the space of 6 months.
