Yeah it’s not deliberate by any means but that doesn’t matter. Just poor (and subsequently dangerous) technique.
He’s trying to get his leg in between the player and the ball to win the ball and/or draw the foul but the angle he needs to do it from has a good chance of going wrong, as it did here. Have seen this same tackle, in the same situation before.
Odds of that are ridiculous. 8000/1?

Yep. If we can't win the FA Cup I would like to see Ange win it.
Plus Spurs fans have suffered long enough. Time for them to get the trophy they deserve.
