Nonsense. More than half of them in the past have come from non Vic clubs.
Cotton On's Dempsey only won it last year cause Harley Reid (and Sam Darcy got suspended)
Although I still don't know why suspended players shouldn't be eligible to win it, it's not like the best and fairest like the Brownlow

AMAZING FACTS!!! Every Chris Scott Premiership has involved someone named Reid playing injured on the opposing team. Scott has won two Premierships, the Reids (Ben for Collingwood and Sam for Sydney) were actually brothers playing for different clubs and the Grand Finals were 11 years apart.
