Who Won???
The problem is most people have little understanding of the real issues behind the veneer.
They base their opinions on the ray martin debates, or something they see on A Current Affair.
Most Australians have little understanding of the damage previous labor governments have inflicted on this country.
Keating and the "recession we had to have." yes, indeed.
you make your bed - you gotta lie in it.
have fun people.

For those wondering, this is how Senate voting works.

...make sure you have a cup of coffee for that one.

Not really but would be nice to go out gracefully.
Bitter libs are much more fun though.
If you really believe what you've written you don't genuinely understand your reasons for voting one way or the other either.
Some of the most significant economic reforms in this country have been implemented by the ALP.
Disappointed in my fellow West Australians, though there was an overall swing to Labor in the state it was in all the wrong places.
A 4 seat majority?
I called that![]()

Don't base your opinions on what you are fed on the t.v.
Has CharlieG got his own thread or something? Can't believe he hasn't posted here tonight.
What the? from Minchin - Howard led us through difficult times ie bali and the shooting in tasmania etc. I can't remember him at all really during those times.

I lived through it mate. Pick your economist of choice - everyone has a view on the economic credibility of the two major parties. I don't hear you mentioning interest rates when Howard was Treasurer. Remind me what he maxed the official rate out at?Don't base your opinions on what you are fed on the t.v.
I presume you are referring to deregulation of the dollar etc... read up on it a bit more before you post and you will find out a lot more information that gives the credit to the Liberal Party.
The Labor Party have caused a lot of damage to families "working families" three times before (whitlam, keating and hawke)- the result are divorces, bankruptcies and the like. Get set for more of the same.

you can't count...winning by 20 seats is a 20 seat majority![]()
