It’s an interesting one. Hillside haven’t recruited at all really and definitely no one of any note. They now sit 0-2 with St Albans next week. Could be 0-3 at the break and that’s not ideal.

Our boys just couldn’t hold on, some costly skill errors late but was honestly the better team all day. Barney destroyed them in the middle all day. A lot of money spent by Craigieburn and the sporting club this year. And I’ll be honest I had them competing for top 3. But if they make it they will be making up the numbers and that’s it.

Was a cracking game only down side was the stupid remarks made by either a reserves player or 18’s player. When Roxy walking off the ground Craigieburn’s supporters and players coming on and one idiot opened his mouth having a crack at a player who was almost best on down back and made one crucial mistake late.

That one comment almost ruins a whole day enjoyed by a decent crowd.

The interesting part is, once he plays a senior game (potentially today) he is then ineligible to play thirds and they will then need to use the reserves to qualify him if needed.

with U18’s and Thirds as well as junior teams coming through

Still a long way to go to compete in premier division though
