No easy games this year , teams will lose to the “bottom sides” whoever gets relegated will be a decent side , big year for the division.

Agree on the relegation battle. A very good team will be unlucky to go down. But such is the strength of Div 2 now, a very good team will come up. Makes for great competitions. I feel the promotion battle will be more clear cut. Here’s my prediction:

Oak Park (comfortably premiers)
Hillside
St Albans
Craigeburn
West Coburg
Avondale
Taylors Lakes
Tulla
Moonee Valley
Roxy

Any one of those 5 sides at the bottom could be unlucky though IMO

Luke Collins has a fair resume at Bundoora and in that league. Interesting to see how him and Jai Robinson go.
I’d still take Baravi as the best player, until I see them play.

Comfortably. Wow. West Coburg only had the pleasure of playing Oak Park once last year for a 92 point win. Yes they (WC) have lost a few, but they also have some very talented younger boys waiting in the wings. Oak Park to their credit have clearly recruited very well. However it needs to be a very significant turnaround to be winning the flag comfortably. Time will tell as always. Good luck to both teams!
