Just a hold on this yet before it's declared dumb
Pick 11 for a top 4 pick plus another group of picks that probably could have got around pick 20 ish aswell. Especially with how thin our list looks now having 3 or 4 exciting young talents doesn't help us as much as it would if we're still competing

Someone else said Hogan would look s* in our team too. I get it, but good players won us a premiership. The list currently is poor. Especially the front half which is embarrassing. I get it, but add those 2 and our front half looks much better. Why do GWS and Hawks keep making right choices but we don't? They simply have better people in position. Lamb, Richo and Goody have got to go. Poach from Hawks or Giants or even Lions. Get the right people in. McCartney would be a good start if we can somehow convince him to move.

The Jefferson pick absolutely reeked of desperation. Like we'd given up on attracting any real forwards through trades, so we just picked this guy up because we have a void of tall forwards on the list. Reached with our 1st rounder too. Not sure who was taken after him, but yeah, it felt forced.

Slim pickings - it was a very poor draft after the first four picks. Weddle or Jones would've been nice, but Jefferson went right in the range he was expected to. Was hardly a Lucas Cook-style, out of nowhere reach.

Yeah, tough to pick a winner around that spot with what was available. I do wonder how Weddle in particular didn't get our attention. Tall, athletic, good skills. Seems like we just wanted a tall forward no matter what. Pretty sure we were going all in on Humphrey as we didn't rate the draft.

Why we passed on Jesse Hogan when he wanted to return at the end of 2020 I will never know.

Unforgivable.

Not really, habits die hard.
I am really happy for Jesse Hogan, and his new found belief...

But chances are he would not have found it back with us.

Habits are clingy, and big habits can come back to the person trying to eradicate them.

I'm Glad we have both moved forward.

I think much of our poor form is starting in our defence... moving the ball far far too slowly, (like treacle)........ out of our D50.
Then takes ages to try to find a target in midfield to move the ball to.
By the time we have the ball 80Mtrs out from goal... our F50 is jammmed up with opposition.

If this past 3 games is Goody's best alternative plan... Then its time Goody goes, and also Richardson.

Lamb will be operating under footy dept wishes... as they see how they want to proceed.
Missed opportunities have gone now (2022/23) with our footy dept wasting a couple of seasons of recruitment.

I think next year will be Maxy's last, and the following year May will be gone. Along with others.

This should be Goody's last hurrah.
