Difficult to see how we improve on the ladder.
West Coast get another pre season into Reid, and have a very good key forward combo.
Adelaide get more out of Thilthorpe & Rankine next year, plus take another step with their midfield.
Saints have shown they are closer to finals sides than they are the bottom sides.
Gold Coast are on the cusp.
It’s just difficult to see why North will be the team to make any reasonable headway into the ladder anytime soon. Might be “better” but it’s still one of the 2 worse lists in the comp and difficult to see North finishing any higher than 16th in 2025, with a best case 16th position finish being reasonably dependent on McGovern & Yeo not being fit…

Blues and pies to plummet
They use Fisher as their release kick, nah, Ziebull was better.
It's amazing that if the Blues and Dockers win next week and the Dogs lose that the Dogs will miss finals. A side good enough to win the flag IMO that might not make it. But if they're good enough, they win next week in Ballarat against GWS. I think they will, on par with Hawks for best performing team atm.
