I hope you’re right, I’m new to this forum and just read that the ex St. John’s 2s coach was a w***er so I hope they get a win for their troubles, in the seniors NB to smash.

no chance! AP Ressies team last year had pretty much senior players playing together for a flag. Even La Trobes 2s last year where better then all of this years 2s.

with the talk of clubs leaving Div 4 and going to other leagues would we have had to heard something official (like the Ivanhoe FC move) by now, or can you just move leagues that easy in the offseason?

Second Semi Final

North Brunswick versus Box Hill North

This should be a cracker of a match.

Contrasting game styles in the way the two ways the team move the footy. The North Brunswick surge approach should hold them in good stead in finals. Ramzy is a good player who is difficult to match up and structurally setup well behind the footy. Dicianni is a quality ball user and Woodward is arguably the best player in the comp.
Box Hill North have quality in the back half in Roberts and Kyle Hocking is a good mid who can use the ball well. Blake Williams is the best tall forward in the comp. The question is will he get enough supply? I don’t think so.

First Semi Final

Albert Park versus St.Johns

Two playing coaches going head to head in a Jack and Nick. Both sides have been up and down throughout the year. Both have played massive numbers in their respective sides so to get them into finals is a great result.

For Albert Park the Lee brothers hold the key in a lot areas. Sam has an ability to find the footy which probably below in a higher standard than this level. Uses the ball well and makes good decisions. Jack can kick tallies of goals quickly if given space to lead into.

St.John’s their midfield bats deep with Nick and Corey Ely being good ball hunters who can push forward to hit the scoreboard. They run well in waves and can transition quickly when it’s turned over.

Tipping Albert Park by 17 points with J.Lee kicking 5 goals plus.

For ressies I am tipping North Brunswick and Box Hill North.

Ivanhoe Officialy to northern. It was on the VAF website. VAFA had a meeting with Old Paradians the other week to try and get them to stay.

Wouldn't call all seniors players. Average age was 34 in the grand final. Most have retired

I heard he stole the bus money for the North Brunny game; they then had to forfeit the reserves due to a lack of valid drivers licenses and others unwillingness to car-pool cause they dont like each other.... Any truth to this?

I heard the phone reception is so bad in Keysborough that even if they wanted to carpool, google maps wouldn't have loaded for them. This could just be a rumour.. no confirmation from anyone in that area as i cant get a hold of them....
