Caught the last 3 quarters at Alpington yesterday, Monders stiff to lose , no ruckman or bench in the second half , they were very brave and only bad kicking at goals cost them. Two young teams next week no doubt.

Hard to get a read on this division atm - I think there's only two or three you can put a line through at the minute - Therry, Old Yarra and West Brunswick, although West Brunswick took Kew all the way to the siren after being down by seven goals at quarter time. Prahran were my favourite and now they've lost to Parkside who were beaten by UHS, who look decent, and only just beat Ormond, however that now looks like a very important win. Ormond have seemingly arrived, Preston have recovered from being comfortably beaten by Kew round one. Old Peninsula on shaky ground. It might just be one of those seasons. Might need a few more rounds but I think looking at the percentage tells a pretty clear story of a top six and a bottom four that may persist.
So In summary there is no form-line after 3 weeks. Go figure

Huge fortnight coming up for therry. Off the back of 2 preseasons of max exodus it will be good to see where the young group is at. Must defend home this week v peninsula

Anyone know why Stacker hasn't played for OYC yet. Few games I watched of them last year he was their barometer, literally just floating having huge numbers and kicking goals. No transfer out either

Age isn’t a factor. We’d have the youngest 22 on the park in the comp this weekend with maybe 50 senior games experience in the back 6 alone.

Ormonds average age against you was 20.7
He has been missing around the club since half time of the Grand Final
Few injuries to some key big bodies haven’t helped TPs start to the year. Tipping they will be a different team on the back nine

Noticed this when I watched them away to Ormond. Kids everywhere who all looked like they had senior experience bar a big full forward in number 19 I think. Only recognised 3-4 players from previous years
