Well Diamante my friend, based upon last night's result you best keep watching footy. Your projected bottom team has rolled your projected top team in Round 1
Hmm.
How did you see the game Silver? Im
away for gather round and so missed it unfortunately.

Spoke to a few of the guys on text this morning and they said, close & physical game (always is between us) in appalling conditions that could have gone either way in the last, but felt WB finished a bit stronger in the end. Our coaches happy with the effort but defiantly a few things to work on.

Pretty much summed it up Chump. Goal for goal in the latter parts until WB kicked ahead with appalling conditions not helping either side. I had presumed Ivanhoe would win but did note the amount of quality players missing from their Premiership team.

Looking forward to some sunshine amidst the appalling conditions at WB next week.

Cheers.

Yes - 15 of that GF 22 not playing last night, but 6 are not playing for us anymore for a host of reasons. It's a new list and so it will take some time to make those adjustments I'd suggest.

That said, most teams go through that each year, so it is what it is. I did have a look at your listed team online and at least 10 changes also. So everyone in the same boat ...... Skipper 😉😝

Was at Preston vs UHS on Saturday, good hard game in the wet where the scoreboard didn’t reflect the evenness of the contest where UHS kicked late goals to blow the margin way out. Both really good clubs with good people involved. Should be good to see how the competition settles over the next 4 weeks.

Not sure a lot can be read into from the weekend given the conditions on the day. Not often you see Therry lose on a wet day so it’s an impressive result/comeback for Peninsula, albeit at home. Originally had them down for a rough year but they’ll be very happy with that start.

Haha settle toungey. I guess I’ll see your side later in the year in person to judge them. Or one better, a relegation party

Busy, busy today .... keeping it shortish....but the theme is home ground advantage plays a role this week in my selections as I still have no idea :)

Glen Eria v Pirates - great win by the Pirates last week, but the combine on their home deck are very hard to beat and I think will get the 'W'.
Ivanhoe V Oakleigh - flip of the coin for me on this one but tipping with heart more than head.
UHS-VU v Kew - Hard to get a read on Kew as last week was played in the rain at night for their loss, but an impressive start for UHS and at home get the win.
Therry v Preston - Therry are also very hard to beat at home and will be super disappointed giving up a 5 goal lead to lose to the pirates. I expect them to bounce back.
West v Prahran - I doubt their are many teams that play their home ground as well as West. As such that may get them over the line this week against the Blues.

Have a great weekend all, good luck, no injuries.
