And she’s definitely reading this thread. Guarantee it. It’s an out there theory and I don’t think it’s the case given how much of a public profile GJ has maintained but I like it a lot. Would be a smart strategy from the cops.

I can see that happening, except the for reported ‘no scent’. I really want to know more about that and about how detailed that exploration was ( doesn’t take much of a gap for a 3 year old to pass through )

Jules at court with fosters and out at lunch afterwards? I just cannot believe it. Who picked up the tab?

It stuns me that such an experienced and supposedly well respected Detective could become entrapped in this dreadfully sad situation.

It certainly ruined his career, and I’d suggest it’s also majorly upset his life.

Do we think perhaps he needed more time ? Was he systematically working through the possibilities?

Paul Savage continues to throw ‘hints’ that he knows something - ‘it will come out’.
He’s now professed to Dan that he was in fact lying in response to Det Jubelin’s questions about when he saw the decoy Spider-Man costume. … is he for real this time or did he just throw that in to earn his pay!

Might he now still be looking for loop holes in the foster parents stories ???

I think she did express her fondness for WT, even though she stated that there was a closeness between him and FF from the beginning. There is the assault and intimidation of his sister by BOTH the FPs. I can accept that WT was fearful of her and may have run away causing him to fall or have another accident trying to escape. Her harsh treatment of the children seems to be an indisputable fact. Despite this, the Police believed she was fond of WT.

From the Crime Commission hearing:
The court was told she appeared at the Crime Commission hearing on November 10 and 11, 2021.

Before the hearing began she was told: “We all accept that you loved William and would not have done him harm. We know accidents can happen … If that’s what occurred on the day William went missing, this is your chance to safely and privately explain that.”

After listening to the latest podcast, it feels a bit like Jubelin with the usual routine only now he has Dan Box on board.

They also mentioned the sound of a car on gravel.

I think it quite possible for a car to reverse Or roll in reverse out of a steeply curving driveway, and to then land on the gravel edge, before resetting and moving forward.

I need to revisit PS times as to what time he was home in between his walks and his wife leaving for Bingo etc.
He lived right opposite #48…..much closer than the Crabb’s, so how did his ‘hearing’ stack up with their’s.

Of course nobody should be hitting their kids but sometimes they need correction and I'm not so freaked out by a tap off someone who probably grew up getting a smack every now and again.

It's the kicking that left a bruise and the lying about it, the lie just flew out of her mouth that the FD fell off a horse and in what was almost contempt.

She could have said nothing but it was too easy for her, she threw the FD under a bus and accused her of lying. Which then became the word of a child against hers.

Agreed Kurve. The fact she so easily lied tells me i) she knew she was wrong. ii) she’s an a accomplished liar

I also grew up in a different era where physical punishment provided the lesson. However this was preset with clear explanations and understanding. You knew what was due but there was no abuse, and it was an extreme and rare occasion that might bring out the ‘strap’.

And there certainly was none of the derogatory comments / verbal abuse that we later became aware was heaped upon William’s sister.
One wonders was this type of communication commonplace in the ‘family’, and if so, how long for.

Sticks & Stones etc - IMO it’s emotional and mental abuse that does the most damage. I’m so pleased that the former foster parents are no longer in a position to subject other children to their ways.

Last time he was there he was two and a half. How far could he have gotten?

Anyway if he had run away before, why wouldn't FM have said so? Would actually make his disappearance more believable than if he was "not a wanderer"?

lol .. you ask ‘why’ …. I think that’s the response to so much regarding this case.

The problem for ‘us’ in our attempts to analyse, is that we don’t THINK the same way as people who engage in criminal activities or subterfuge.

That very early insistence that William was ‘not a wanderer’ has stuck in my mind too, and for me it negates there conviction that he was abducted.

* to be abducted he had to wander from the confines of the house - either down the driveway or to any of the perimeter areas

IMO, this reeks of lack of the responsible and necessary supervision - am not yet sure if the supervision was paramount for the 3 year old child, or for those responsible for his welfare.

Children have been run over by their own parents why would you tell a little three year old go and see if daddy is coming?
48 is in a dense bush area their is a high possibility of snakes.
She immediately thought he had been abducted, so if the possibility is there why would you let him play out of sight? Especially if the FGM thought strange people lived in the street and one had been bothering her?
William was used to playing at day care and looking after him self so why not go for a little walk?
A brand new shiny bike why not take it for a ride?

I think you’re right. Police would put all they’ve got into this. Someone’s probably undercover. Would have to be someone FM really trusts though.

There is a person she indicated to that FD had to be broken.
