I have no problem with people wanting a family.
It's the way they went about it, and their motivation for wanting a family I question.

Wallace, do you know if at the CC trial for FF if FM was supporting him by just being there or she did not turn up that…..would be revealing.

She was there. She was allowed in the closed court with the FF and Clare was also allowed in the closed court.

Everyone including media, public etc were locked out. Exceptions were the lawyers English and McDoogle (I think her name is McDoogle? She is the lawyer who was pregnant at that time) and all of the photos of the FM that day show her with a brace on one arm/wrist, and she was wearing a blue dress.

Now, on a slightly different topic - I wanted to add that a friend of mine recently sent me a photo they found of the NSWCC inside, if anyone is interested.

It was posted on the Insta of a Sydney journalist but has now been deleted.

Well he went to lunch with his wife and then he came back for the next session of court.

From post 6,209: in her witness testimony at the inquest - presumably about which neighbours she visited when looking for William - neighbour Anne Maree said she alerted the Crabbs (at No. 51).

But Overington's book quotes Mrs Crabb saying she was alerted by FM and FF running distressed up her driveway: see post 337 (with a few posts following up after that).

MOO, I think being alerted about a missing child would probably be more memorable than hearing a car which sounded like a postie - so is Mrs Crabb's memory correct about who alerted her? If not, maybe her memory about hearing a car that day is questionable? Or maybe Overington's book is wrong? Or maybe Crabbs were alerted twice, first by Anne Maree, later by the foster parents?

Whoever alerted them and whenever that was, the Crabbs then reportedly drove to a neighbour's place to check the pool and then at some time after that drove somewhere else to get a spare key for the Miller house (No. 52) so police could search inside.

Does anybody know what sort of vehicle the Crabbs were driving and when?

I could have trimmed it but why? Who cares?

It’s important to have the date on it, I thought, and that’s one of the reasons I didn’t bother trimming after I was sent the pic, before I posted it.

My guess would be a Holden Sandman.

I believe the drive was before she met with Sharpley or any of the other neighbours. …and before FF arrived home.

Did AMS testify at inquest as to what time it was when FM met her when she was outside having a smoke ?

I think that time is important.

If it was 10.40am as has been thrown around, that’s a gap of 17 mins before she rang 000.

On the 000 call she said We’ve been looking for him for 15 - 20 minutes.

On the basis of that, it indicates to me that she totally ignored / discounted any time prior to that. Which means she indicates that William went missing just before FF arrived home at 10.35am.

If that’s when she realised he was missing, that’s almost an hour after the iconic 9.37 am photo ! Plenty of time to head off unseen and hide him, possibly in total opposite direction to Cobb & Co Rd; possible even drove other roads as decoys.

She’s been reported numerous times as saying she was sitting talking with her mother and daughter when she realised it was all quiet - so William was not playing with his sister.

FF also indicated that FM, FGM & FD were on that patio when he arrived home.

I think FM remembered a couple of days later that she Saw a Truck in her travels and in case the Driver remembers her she made up the story about the fast semi-trailer & driver thinking she was waving to him.

Just my thoughts, quite possibly all wrong.

I thought part of the reason the top brass wanted Jubelin to rule the Fosters out, was so one of them couldn't be in a position to claim the million bucks?

So the NSWCC hearing for the FF was when? Maybe 2021 October or November?

And then the lying hearing was like October/November 2023.

So what I’m just theorising is that when he went before the NSWCC, maybe he was truthful and helpful and spilled the beans.

Or maybe the cops got him earlier than that and turned him.

I hadn’t heard this but if FM’s guilty and FF knew all along, I hope he isn’t getting any million dollars.
He’d be just as twisted as her to go along with it at all and for so long.

I don’t know they’ll put FM on the stand. Maybe, but I think the Coroner either has a good idea of what’s happened to William or she doesn’t, based on the evidence she has.
If it’s an open finding we’re none the wiser unless police lay charges on someone in the future.
