Be that as it may, the Pie fan girls adore him and so maybe you're envious of the attention he gets that you probably crave.

Back to the central debate, he probably like many others, doesn't mind the forward line though because kicking goals earns the ultimate kudos and he is not without show-pony characteristics.

Odd as far as I know Peter and Jane Moore are a couple with Darcy their son.

No, as far as I know they split, and Peter is with a woman called Leisa (blonde), while Darcy's mother Jane (brunette} lives separately. That is why I asked if it was the step or real mother because I know Peter and current wife holiday in Qld. Jane is also the mother of one of his sisters who among other things did international modelling, while the other sisters are his half-sisters from another marriage. His original wife (Laura) from the 80s sometimes attends matches with the rest of the entourage. I know people from the media who've told me this but on draft day this was apparent with Peter sitting with his current wife and Darcy's mother sitting with the sister. From what I understand they broke up when Darcy was pretty young.

I have a feeling they will eventually throw him forward after 2-3 years. Hes 23 now, maybe when hes 25 they will swap him back up forward for last 6-7 years of his career.

Great article in the HS today with old Hawthorn greats comparing Darcy's speed, leap and reading of the play to Peter Knights. Obviously a long way to go but Dipper said he would pay to watch us not for the midfield but to watch Darcy close down space. Good read if you can find it.
