Channel 7 just showed footage off the incident. West was standing still and Kerr seen him ran flat out at him with his head down aimed at West's head. Total brain fade similar to Halls. Tried to knock West out or break his jaw. Luckily contact was with the side off West's head. Looked very ugly.

I noticed that to and was getting pretty mad.

Kerr was held a lot, especially at stoppages, he got a couple free kicks from it, but im pretty sure there where a lot more there.

in kerrs defence, a few weeks ago sumich publicly stated he never did dirty acts and only attacked the ball hard and sometimes accidentally hurt people who got in his way. maybe he was just starting his run at the ball and west got in his way.........

The media in WA brought in medical experts on the TV raving about how Staker 'could have died ' from Bazza's punch.I wonder if we could have those same experts back to elaborate for us on what a headbutt can do.
I just hope the AFL doesn't let this clown off lightly after setting a precedent with Bazza's case.In terms of the malice involved they are almost identical.Actually, i'd have Kerr's as worse.

At the time, the incident was played down by the Eagles as "part of the game"...we can justify anything if it's us doing it, can't we?

This was the first thing I thought of when I heard Woosha's post-game press conference. Westy kicked 6 goals in his debut match and Woosh and team went to town on him the following week to let him know all about AFL football. Westy's body was covered in welt marks and severe bruising after that match and took it all as part of the learning curve of how to deal with close checking opponents.

Woosh comes across very poorly with his after-match whinge, and really should be pointing the finger at his woefully undisciplined senior midfielder, who created the rod for his back so early in the piece on Saturday night. I like Kerr as a footballer, but having a "brain explosion" after barely 10 minutes of close checking football is mentally piss weak.
