Nope not at all. People just needed an excuse to throw him under the bus after he was posting pro trump stuff. Now North supporters can and just say it was the Carey posts.

If he was in it, someone would have complained, cue the moral outrage pieces and the reference to TT and how the club should have known better. Far happier with this storyline.

That little clique of bomber nuffburgers on Twitter, who positively foam at the mouth at the chance to put the boots into us for any innocuous reason, whilst passionately declaring they "couldn't care less about norf", they would have complained at the sight of Carey, and that would have been it. Now it is all over social media and on the evening news.
