Anyone who watched the Pies today will know that Grundy walks straight back into the side.
Our ‘gun’ ruck duo of Cameron and Cox got pantsed by the worst side in the comp.

Well, Goldstein…

Is Goldstein the worst ruck in the comp?
No he’s not. With Grundy playing we are better against good rucks like that.
There is no doubt he comes in when fit.

They've been running the bog average Xerri in the ruck until he got injured last week.

It was multiple AA Goldstein this week. Our boys broke even, Cameron kicked three and Cox took five important contested marks.

We had problems everywhere today but ruck wasn't one of them.

The main issues were our inability to defend the corridor and stoppage clearances. They smashed us in the ruck.

If we get the opportunity to flip Grundy then we should definitely consider it. But the bidding club will have to come up with a top notch offer and pay all if his salary so we can replace him with an equally high profile gun player… maybe a key forward.

. Cameron and Cox are going great but they are not long term solutions. Two years down the track, Cox is retired and Cameron reverts to so-so form…How are we left with Grundy gone?

Credit to the Kangaroos they played well. They did not look like a bottom placed team.

I thought around the ground the umpires handicapped Cox with their interesting interpretations. Goldstein got away with a lot.

Not sure Cameron was 100% fit.

Down back we were under sized and the Kangaroos exploited that well.

At this stage if Grundy is to play then I would play all three. Cox is marking the ball well and contesting well.

I do think that serious consideration will be given to playing all three.

I’m ok with Grundy going, I think what we see is what we get, Been a whipping boy for 2 years now and his contract is even more ridiculous now we’ve seen what Cameron & Cox can do.

As long as we don’t get bent over, it’s off you Grundyman!

Except that he’s not going.

Ben McKay been on the radar and I thought he was excellent today. One to potentially try and poach in future
