aha- it wasn't the answer I'd missed- I had missed what relevance the question had to me.... totally missed the original question but saw it when you answered it... confusing.

I think it's the iphone- well, I'm blaming that, anyway ;) I tend to skip through quickly and not take all of the posts in, especially if they're not relevant to me. Most things that don't make sense (e.g if I've missed something earlier), I skip as well. Makes life go faster ;)

Thanks Squishy:) Not real interested in North just now . Ummm we are booked into St George for a few nights, then onto Cunnamulla( spelling) ?? then to Bourke, then down down ...........towards Cobar then ........ :)
coffelover, have you ever been on any of the old stock routes in your travels? I was reading a couple of books by Mary Durack a few years ago and found all that stuff very very interesting. I reckon that's something I'd like to have done (droving sheep!) way back in the old days but, of course, women weren't allowed to do a lot of that back then, especially if there were men to choose instead. It's still a bit like that in some areas of life these days, where some men just don't let women into their domain (mining is one that springs to mind but I never had any problems, luckily, because there had been trailblazers before me- construction is another area where women can often struggle- or engineering fields in general) I think I'd like to do some of those outback tours (e.g. Birdsville track) - they'd be pretty cushy these days!- just to relive some of those olden days.

karencatsfan, you want to know about Game of Thrones?? Please allow the gorgeous Natalie Dormer to explain it to you...

Cunnamulla is correct, the Qld town? I love all those areas around Bourke + Cobar CL, spent lots of school holidays up there. My Mum had a career, so I was farmed out for school holidays with friends. It was fantastic fun! Walgett, Culgoa, Cobar, Brewarrina, Nyngan, Wilcannia, all wonderful places in outback NSW. When I used to go there it was just desert + scrub, but with irrigation + growing cotton, it's so green there now. I remember the first time I went to Dubbo + no grass at all. Now it is so green when you fly in. You'll have a terrific time CL. What an adventure!

Glad you are getting into it KCF, another person to chat to about GoT! Yay! We could start a PM for the GoT lovers to chat about it. The thread on BF has spoilers + lots of discussion, which would take someone who was new to GoT ages to get through. + that way we wouldn't drive those who don't watch it crazy talking about it here :)

Something I have been watching, think you have too, is Hannibal.

Won't give anything away for those who haven't seen it, but last night saw quite possibly the goriest episode. I'll call it 'inside the horse'. Do you know what I'm talking about :eek::eek:?

I've only seen Season1 + I don't recall it, I'm sure I'd remember lol The fungi garden was one of my faves + the copycat's posed body on top of the deer lol

Hannibal - Didn't Poison You - Wouldn't do that to the Food.gif

He certainly is! I'd sooooo go there ;) Did you watch him in 'Unit 1'? It was a fantastic show.

I've discovered 'QI' today lol I confused it with 'Q+A' but it is hilarious, adore Steven Fry.

Speaking of GoT, QEII visited the Kings Landing set today, now who wouldn't want to be Queen + do that? She was presented with a GoT Swords Throne replica o_O or  ???

'Hunger Games' is on 99GO tonight missed the first ten minutes, would someone please fill me in? :)
She's been given the MockingJay + the girl has volunteered to take her sister's place. Prim has just given the MockingJay to her sister for luck. What did I miss in the beginning?

You have never read the hunger games?
In fact I can't believe someone hasn't watched it.

well, i am as serious cancer when i say rhythm is a dancer i have not seen hunger games, nor any interest in seeing it.
It's a good story.
It's about choosing between life or death based around personal morals.
I like the action side of it too. But there is a lot of deeper meaning.
