Came here to say exactly this. Cannot fathom how he is in the team before Aish.Worner has to go out, he’s just awful.
So far from AFL level that it’s unimaginable for him to make up that gap.

Came here to say exactly this. Cannot fathom how he is in the team before Aish.Worner has to go out, he’s just awful.

I think we see:
Out: Worner (22 y.o, 10 games), Aish (29 y.o, 184 games), Sharp (23 y.o, 49 games), Erasmus (21 y.o, 25 games)
In: Wagner (42 games, 28 y.o), O'Meara(188 games, 31 y.o), Fyfe (240 games, 33 y.o), Young (80 games, 23 y.o)
If Young or Fyfe aren't picked Erasmus holds his spot.
Of note that's about 5 years and 282 games of experience potentially coming into the team.
Terrible disposal he had 83% efficiencyI don't think you grasp how football works. Erasmus has terrible disposal, doing the "grunt" work is not enough. Erasmus only had more midfield time this week because Jaeger was a late withdrawal (on top of Young), I'm sure if it wasn't for that he would have played forward like last week. Even then, JL gave him 69% game time, the lowest on the field except for subs.
Yeah good on him. I still think he plays like he has blinders on and lacks awareness and composure.Terrible disposal he had 83% efficiency
Sharp came off injured so it could be a forced change anyway. It might also be a reason he’s been poor this year if it was hampering him.I think Sharp holds his spot. I don't think anyone else could play the wing role as well as he can.
I have Frederick out instead of Sharp, I would play Young is in his role for a few weeks with increasing minutes in the middle as he builds up his fitness.
Switta should be back by Richmond, and eventually he will take the role in the forward line, with someone like Banfield out
Something like this.
Out: Worner (22 y.o, 10 games), Aish (29 y.o, 184 games), Frederick (???)
In: Wagner (42 games, 28 y.o), O'Meara(188 games, 31 y.o), Young (80 games, 23 y.o)
The thing to remember with Sharp is he normally play 90% of the game and covers a huge amount of ground. He is hard to replace.
In terms of actual playing positions:
Wagner in for Worner
JOM in for Sharp (with NOD to play fat side wing)
Young (potentially) in for BB
BB and Aish to duel it out for sub duties

After Round 5 we currently have no Sunday fixtures. Why the **** are we playing the Sunday arvo fixture AGAIN.

I think LJ already did that this year against Grundy and that's with Grundy having heaps of help..Dogs are fit and full of run. need to match that this week. This team must have last year's slaughtering they copped form the Dogs in their mind and be hellbent on revenge. This will be a great test for LJ to show what he can do against a genuine ruck.
Out - Worner, Aish.
In - Young (off half back as a Quarterback until he gets enough fitness to play midfield), JOM.
Sub - Banfield

For those saying Worner is an automatic out, this post has a clip with his defensive efforts as our small defender.
Yes he absolutely burned the ball, but we don't have any other small defenders. If the coaches liked his defensive efforts I can see him keeping his spot in the backline and Aish being dropped

At least one of them is a certainty. Not keen on rushing Fyfe back in. He has proven to be a liability coming off injurys.
Hope Worner or Wagner don't get a game.
Both ball burning moment killers.

I see critical mass of slower players building up. The tall backline, all of Ras, Fyfe, JOM Dudley, Reid (they are NOT fast of foot, dont even), the 3 tall forwardline...
Wagner helps a bit hopefully but it's a concern. I'm at the point I'd drop Freddy as well but he being fast and able to run is pretty big for this team...
