Hawks are hoping they'll be able to move that game to Tassie.Reckon Dusty to kick 5+ would be a good bet.
Was more thinking a few weeks off and maybe the Hawks game at AO?
No argument from me, a poor system means you are on a hiding to nothing. Good system then it's about not being weak and pushed off the ball.IMO, the tall mid is icing on the cake. At the moment, I think we have most of the ingredients but we are missing the recipe.
Its hard to find a heap of positives but these guys certainly are.I’d add just Poholke to that list. Maybe Sholl too.
Thought Poholke was pretty good. I think there’s a role there for him, bit similar to what Berry plays for Bris. He’s not as tall I know, but he plays tall.
It’s a good list though and felt that when these guys were getting hands on ball, some good things happened.
3 games in a row, and 4 of the last 6 he's played. He was good against Essendon, and OK against St Kilda. Shockingly awful against Fremantle, Melbourne, Collingwood & Bulldogs. If we don't drop Tex now we never will. Next week it will be 'we cant drop him a game after his 200th' then the game after it will be 'just let him play out the year'.
He has been WOG or close to for 2 games in a row.
I'm a big Tex fan and was defending him a few weeks ago but let him go out with some respect and not desperately clinging to a spot that he doesn't deserve with fans resenting him. Maybe he gets a 200th in the final round if he trains well.
Yeah I think possibly the biggest positive was our efficiency. 50% with 16 shots from just 32 entries. Compare that with 33% v Freo or 30% v Port. Its hard to find a heap of positives but these guys certainly are.
I'm glad to see Berg come good, straightens us up a lot
Team announcements are still the night before the game, given that they're still playing 7 days per week.so is it back to normal again with team announcements?... thursday night again with friday arvo the day the teams playing on the sunday set their 22 in stone?..
or do we still have to wait till the night b4 the match?
$1.01and what are geelong paying for 40+?... anyone know?
????... after tonights game theres no game till friday according to the AFL site..Team announcements are still the night before the game, given that they're still playing 7 days per week.
Our forward line is definitely green, but its certainly showing flashes of being dangerous and unpredictable in the future. And those flashes are certainly encouraging!Yeah I think possibly the biggest positive was our efficiency. 50% with 16 shots from just 32 entries. Compare that with 33% v Freo or 30% v Port.
Translates to 9 shots from 30 entries v Port or 14 shots from 42 entries v Freo.
So the structure and system going forward was pretty good, just didn’t get it in there anywhere near enough. Back to the mids again.
They've got some weird blocks happening:????... after tonights game theres no game till friday according to the AFL site..

McAdam is the anti-Jenkins: I.e. a small who plays big.
Stengle has next level vision, and with a bit of continuity and confidence I think could be among the most dangerous smalls in the league within 1-3 years.
Berg looks like he could be a great second fiddle KPF, unfortunately he's essentially playing #1 forward right now. At least in game impact.
The next stage is to finally sort out what we have in FOG and Davis....
We are in legitimate danger of not scoring against Geelong. They easily beat us on most occasions when we were good.
I might take some of that$1.01
