How long will we have to wait this one out before the sacking, the caretaker then the search for a new one?

Yep.
Hartigan last week was them testing the waters. There wasn't a massive outcry (because people have mostly stopped caring) so they felt emboldened to bring in another one this week.

The current path only means one thing. More time down the bottom.
How many dour defenders do we need? Talia, Brown, Hartigan, Kelly all have no attack to their game. Coupled woth Mackay who just plain useless and Laird who cant hit a ****ing target. Doedee isn't particularly attacking either and Mcpherson is a first gamer. The only one that will be aggressive is Hammil.

Doedee has been pretty attacking this season so far
We must know the ball will always be in our back half, so we can play with 10 defenders. Just try and lose by less?

So ??Mackay was actually one of our better players last year.
Why is it an insult? There's no reason to not expect this type of decision being made. There's been plenty of signs that nothing really had changed. Mackay wasn't name as emergency because he wasn't in the coaching group's thinking. I honestly don't know why you're insulted. I'm a little surprised, especially with the talk about a rebuild, but am I insulted, shit no. I'm disappointed with myself for not being more certain this would happen and being able to ram it down your's and effwits like JIB's throats even further.

I'm all seriousness, a very weird selection given how we've actually been pretty good at leaving these players out this year. Especially weird given the outs.

That being said, we shouldn't let this take away from the fact that we're finally seeing a player who most of us thought didn't exist! Stengle and McAsey up forward is also good to see.
