He’s likely sub if he plays regardless as Long has done enough to get a full game and defensive mid is his 1-wood.

He was right about the two weeks but there was otherwise nothing comparable to the Pickett incident. Pickett was just lucky physics is a thing because if he was a heavier body he would have caused a lot more damage. Little blokes can always get away with more than bigger blokes.

Gather Round suits teams like Collingwood as they will always line us up against relatively lower drawing clubs. We will never have to play an SA team for example.

I’m not sure he was comparing the two in the way you’re suggesting. I took it more as a “look at what this nasty hit got, this on the surface is less severe with the same injury outcome so it should get graded as medium (1 week) or at absolute worst high (2 weeks) impact. Can’t grade this higher than the Kosi hit.”

Maybe I’m wrong but didn’t feel like the intent was to put the two on an equal footing.

Swans won off turnover and their zone. On the big Adelaide ground they won’t get a lack of pressure and poor turnovers that north offered. Norths foot skills are league worst. They were shocking.

I also don’t rate their forward line and I reckon north’s backline is is close to league worst. I can’t see the swans kicking a winning score against us. Defensively we have been very good.

Grundy ain’t beating Cameron either!

In short we can beat them.
