Not much to write home about , they are both hard at it good solid foot soldiers .. manning the fort till we get our skilled mids back from injury. they cancel each other out .
No way!
Sullivan could not have covered JHF, or continually stop PA breaking from contest, or break tackles to hand off.
Long is a far more important contributor.

Sullivan offers nothing, he’s clearly first out for De Goey. Poor kick with no depth, zero hurt factor, offers nothing outside of the initial stoppage, fumbly first touch and makes poor decisions under pressure
We killed them around the contest and outran them big time. Watch it again and watch how often Sullivan is there and how well he competes. He played a significant part in that win by doing the second most KMs on the ground, giving us an outnumber, heaping on the pressure and cracking in hard. It's not just pretty outside footy that wins games, plus his skills are nowhere near as bad as you're suggesting. He's going to be very good depth for us. Excellent selection from the match committee. Helped turn around two big issues from the previous week. He might miss for Jordy, but he'll be unlucky.

Really should be winning this one comfortably if we’re being realistic. Need to take advantage of their depleted midfield and backline.

Absolutely this, Dogs are amazing with backs to wall, but they will be without Treloar, Bont, Jamara, Weightman and they have Richards and Dale backing up from interrupted preseasons.

Naughton and Darcy are their paths to victory. Time for our Darcy to step up.

They also barely beat North last night too… but we can’t underestimate them like we did with the Giants

Would love to see Jordy play but I think they'll give him one more week.
You mean 3 more weeks? Thursday 3rd of April is our game against Carlton. Is he that far off being ready to play?

I really think this week would be perfect, allowing him to get any first-game soreness out of the way with a bye to recover. I guess we will see how Wade and Fly want to play it.

I think I read somewhere that they are going to hold him back until the Carlton game. They might not see merit in playing him next week and then he has a week off

They might prefer to hold him and hope that the weather turns a bit and he doesn’t have to play high-transition games in 30 degree heat.

I’m 100% in the camp of giving De Goey another fortnight to prepare for Carlton in Rd 4 which will be a massive test for us. If they want some match minutes, I’m all for him coming in as the sub. Need to make sure he is absolutely cherry ripe, I’m exhausted at seeing him come in at less than 100% and we know how it goes with Jordy where he then misses games or plays completely underdone.

Nobody deserves to be dropped after last night. The Dogs won’t be easy, however after last nights performance I’d rather keep the same 23 that played last night and see how they matchup.

Playing at the G is gonna be massive for us. Wanna see 70k+ there this Friday night.

Next week is the perfect game to bring in JDG. The dogs have no one to play on him in the middle and can even have stints up forward if we persist with McStay as a back up ruck. The bye the following week is perfect for him.

Carlton are plodders but they still have a hardened midfield. Would love JDG to have some level of match fitness heading into this. Last thing we need is him pulling up sore with a game the following week.

Would be stiff dropping Sullivan after this win, but JDG could match that output in his sleep.

Initial thoughts:

Out McInnes in Frampton for match up reasons.
I'm tempted to bring in DeGoey as a sub. But I don't know for sure if it's the best move.
Long to run with Richards to keep him quiet.
Does Cameron need a bit of a chop out after 2, 6 day turn arounds. Would Cox in be useful? Maybe not with the bye coming up.

Yeah I completely agree, however for the purpose of playing him just for match minutes, I want to know he’s 100% ready to go, rather than 95%.

I can't see us dropping reef. Maybe Frampton in for Sullivan, I really don't know
