I added Vegemite once when making chocolate crackles as a kid.

Vegemite is black tar! Yucky
And fyi Marmite is better says the kiwi kid. Much nicer flavour. Sweeter and not so tar like

I liked Promite too. Much sweeter

Never had Marmite or Promite, my preferred "ite" is the Vege variety. I sometimes rub it into a roast lamb before chucking it in the Weber, works well, as long as you aren't too heavy handed of course.

I add it to things that need salt. The flavour adds a whole new level bc it’s not just boring salt.

But on toast… much prefer marmite or promite

Fruit loaf when toasted was topped with butter & Vegemite, and then it's turned into Vegemite on hot cross buns

I do both of these (just not to choc chip hot cross buns), but I'm the only one in the family that does

Agreed, I do similar with beef stock powder. Vegemite in meat pie filling goes very well

When I've got a Vegemite jar down to the dregs, it's set aside for when I'm cooking some form of savoury beef - add hot water to the jar to rinse it out and in it goes as additionally flavouring
