2nd fleecing of the Dan Morgan era. First was the flogging of the Rams for their 2nd rounder this year.
The player the Rams traded that for, Fiske, looks like a beast.

While I agree, great trade on paper I think we'll end up losing that coz Rams nailed the pick.

With your awful scouting you were likely never going to take fiske anyways thou. 😜

Edit - by your awful i meant panthers not yours A11dAtP0w3R yours runs rings around them.

Mingo was a ****ing awful pick, literally called it a month before the draft. Sucks when EFL Boy and I can out GM our teams GM

Just had a look and Mingo ran a 4.46 at the combine, well ill be damned, thats more than decent speed, looks a hell of a lot slower than that on film for some reason. I was expecting 4.60ish

I guess as a later round pick, but he gives me a ton of N'Keal Harry vibes.

ehhhh... hope Fitty is right and im wrong but geez his tape didnt impress me. Seems like a decent reach

Feel ehh about Mingo... they obviously LOVE him, but I would've preferred Downs, Tillman

There is nothing in Mingo's college profile that indicates quality NFL WR. Seen some Panthers fans suggest he's DK Metcalf, don't make me laugh. Maybe he can be better than I think and by god I hope he is but I'm really struggling to get behind that pick, would have preferred Tillman any day.

I'm happy we got our QB I'm just disgusted about day 2. Hopefully I'm wrong and just being my usual negative self. 🤞

Downs and Tillman looking pretty good...

I feel it was Ownership trying to prove how smart they were by taking Mingo over local kid in Downs.
Mingo looked slow and didn't separate well in college and that was backed up by slow combine time but they thought they new better.

We probably would've ruined them anyway.
Ladd looks awesome too btw. The guy we wanted !

(At least Legette doesn't look bad, still would prefer Ladd but Legette isn't a bust)

I think it was Fitterer was in Seattle when they selected Metcalf and went "derrrrr Mingo has a big body and is from Ole Miss, I will pick a DK Metcalf myself like John Schneider did derrrrrr"

Yep!

Pleasantly surprised with Legette. Really didn't expect him to be doing so well, so soon. But opportunities have come up and he's taken them.

Think he’ll be eased in the whole season and eventually a committee. Doubt he’ll ever see the bulk of the work this year.
I agree, but when will he be active is what im saying? Been hearing next week for a month.

I do appreciate the encouragement manureid , im just not ready to say they rock just yet. :tearsofjoy:

Maybe we can give them one of these...

Jaycee saying "I dont know if they think they are the Chiefs" :tearsofjoy:

Preciously why I will always love beating the Saints, the only team in football I cant stand. They have this weird arrogance despite having not done shit for years.

Good week for Panthers continues a win, fleecing someone in a trade and now this

Might seem a strange move to some given we just took Brooks in the second round but Chuba is a leader and culture setter on a team with **** all of them. I cant have been more impressed with him this year, happy hes staying.

Now its up to Canales to work out a way to use him and Brooks together, hopefully we have a DeAngelo Williams & Jonathan Stewart "Double Trouble" 2.0 brewing here.

Brooks doesnt turn 22 til next July either lets not forget, hes got plenty of years ahead of him hopefully.

I reckon Panthers have a little Lions (2022 i think) ceiling to them....that year Lions lost lots of games still but started learning how to win again at the backend of the season.

Very different regimes, staffs, etc, and not saying Panthers will be where Lions are in two years, but there's a little of that going on imo.
