Only change I'd like to see is Fletcher (if fit) in for Gwilt.

We have the 4 best defenders in the comp - who also happen to be our 5 best forwards. Fletch, Hooker, Carsile and Hurley

ill be filthy if we loose this, cause the boss's boss at maccas is carton fan, n i have to fly to work at top speed afterwards

I wonder if super coach Malthouse will dismiss the rivalry this year?.....or use it to get his side up and about?

4 points is all we should aim for.
If I recall correctly we skipped out to a nice lead last year only again to give that lead up and lucky too draw.
Sound familiar?
The reality is every team thinks, no matter how far behind the bombers they are at half time, they can get back into the match.
Hird conceded this tonight in his press conference.

Dismiss any team in this competition at your own peril. Take your foot off the pedal for any period and things can change quick in this comp.

But if they come out aim to play four consistent quarters we should prevail.

Four consistently good quarters is what I would like to see.

Easier to say then do I suspect.

The difference is Carlton are crap and don't have the ability to come back unlike good teams ie Swans and Hawks.

Bit of a worry with the short break and after what must have been a draining game for the players.

Can see it being a bit of a scrap.

Would let Melksham run with Judd because I think he can hurt him the other way.

I don't think the game was that draining - it was pretty open. A lot of hawks fans were complaining about the lack of pressure in the first half.
