last drinks at west end............commiseration drinks perhaps.............

Actually walked past the brewery this morning & took a happy snap.

West End is always the last beer in the fridge.....Southwark, it’s evil cousin, cleans drains.

Just hope they keep the SANFL premiers chimney.

Ran over them in the end. Cleaned a few things up at half time and ran them down.

Levi finally started crashing people and bullying. Something that has been missing from his game for a while.

Murphy was better in the second half. Still wasn't as effective as he could have been. Sold a few of his team mates into trouble with some dodgy kicking.

SPS 6 tackles for the match. I reckon he did much better in the second half as well.

Kemp worked back into the game after a poor start. Willo was good... needs proper tall defenders around him because he's hot a KPD at all. Honey was silent in the first half and exploded in the second. Fantastic work rate from him.

Carroll... OMG do we have a player here. Was everywhere as the game went on. Has a ton of silky moves that baffled the opposition at times.

Of AFL listed players, very impressed with...... Murphy (26d), SPS, Carroll (25d), Levi (21d), LOB (17d), Honey (3 goals) (Carroll looks a real player.)

Disappointed with......... Kemp (8), Willo (15), Cottrell (15), Boyd (14), Durdin (4). (All could have done better IMO)

Hard fought win, Port were quick with play-on football, had better teamwork in 1st three quarters, but we got if together in the last. Well done Blues.

Reading the reports here it seems Levi and Murph are suited to this level now.

SPS has undoubted talent and anyone with age and talent on their side should be retained. Same goes for Carroll and Honey.

A positive day it seems.

I think today probably helped play Levi into some form with his marking back finally. A couple more weeks like today and I think he'd be hard to ignore for the seniors although guilty of poor decisions and a few free kicks at times.

Carroll looked amazing today with his work ethic and desire at the content really shining through. Very strong in the hips and silky in movement and disposal.

SPS very good today as our number 1 midfielder. Clearly he's a better player when he's running rather than stop start. Had 3 long kicks today that hit targets over 40 to 50 which were all as he was moving. Perhaps the momentum helps him to feel better about the distance.

Boyf has great disposal and really keen to see how we use him.

great call too, really enjoyed those young fellas..........
Felt at times I was listening to the old radio calls from the 70s. No nonsence straight up. Louie the Lip and Rex Hunt style!

Good win finished strongly after a ordinary first half...
Carroll’s best game easily, looks really good...
Honey dangerous again, good speed and pressure...
SPS good solid game onball, still needs to improve defensively...
Casboult was solid, presented well, great last quarter...
Boyd improved as the game went on, solid first game...
Williamson solid game...
Cottrell tried as usual ok...
Kemp pretty quite...
Durdin chases and pressures, not much of the ball...
Mirkov very unlucky type injury, hopefully not too bad...
O’Brien ordinary game, atm not trekking well long term...
Murphy just ok...

It looked like Kemp was matched up against Paddy Kerr in the second half. Certainly kept him quiet if that was the case.

The other dance move by Carroll and class from Honey. 20210619_160900.gif
