Bulldogs v West Coast - Rd 11, 2016

The 6th placed Dogs take on the 5th placed Eagles at Etihad today, a venue the Dogs have thoroughly enjoyed this year.

I'm surprised there is no interest in this game yet. Possibly match of the round on paper.

Dogs at home should be too good. Dogs by 11pts.

Match of the round or a dead heat with the Cats v Giants. Should be a fascinating contest. Very interested to ser how it pans out. Picked the Doggies but not with huge confidence.

West Coast vs Bulldogs at Docklands is always an entertaining contest. Think we'll be able to sneak across the line, as the Bulldogs have been relatively lacklustre recently. Even the "Etihad" fortress doesn't seem that intimidating right now, seeing as the similarly placed Crows nearly got the job done a few weeks ago.

Good call Hopkins. Match of the round for sure. Winner moves into 4th. Eagles have a massive chance to prove they're fair dinkum and win in Melbourne. If they win this you'd have to start taking them seriously. The Bulldogs, like the Eagles, need to be top 4 to push for a chance at a flag.

If West Coast win today they have the following to come.
Adelaide (home) - win
Brisbane (away) - win
Essendon (home) - win
North (home) - 50/50
Carlton (away) - 50/50
Melbourne (home) - win
Collingwood (away) - 50/50
Fremantle (home) - win
Giants (away) - 50/50
Hawks (home) - 50/50
Crows (away) - 50/50

Of the 50/50 games you could probably pencil in 3 wins realistically. I'd say if the Eagles can get it done today it's unlikely they'll fall out of the 4, may even push higher. That'll make things very interesting. Could they win a qualifying final away?

Yeah this and Cats and GWS the 2 best matches.
The late outs cancel each other out.

Eagles in a close one.

Reckon this is the Eagles "watch out, we're coming" game. A good win, Dogs are very good but think the Eagles are on the verge of knocking the flat-track bully monkey off their back.
