No his family moved from Geelong's region to The Dogs nuffie :$
The AFL changed the guidelines. Specifically the TAC Cup boundaries were changed moving him from Geelong's NGA to Bulldogs.

JUH himself was boarding at Scotch College for four years.

Anyway - it all works out in the end :$

He'll be closer to home, family and support in Geelong.

I don't think anyone is surprised at all.
All his Bulldogs team mates can't stand him and want him out of the club.

Geelong's interest however firmly adds to my belief they are out of the running for Harley Reid, so JUH is their consolation prize

This sort of thinking is why Carlton are perennially shit.

Interest in JUH doesn't indicate anything. The club have stated over and over again (though not enough, it seems) that they're always interested in quality players and will explore all avenues.

You'd be a shithouse club if JUH had the potential to become available and you didn't at least kick the tyres.

“He’s got one year of a contract left, I think the Dogs have lost all leverage. Clubs are going to offer them a late first, or early second (round draft pick); that’s embarrassing. They’ve got to back this kid in, (and) maybe this year’s a write-off — just accept that.”

Questions over Ugle-Hagan’s long-term commitment to the club emerged after fellow Midweek Tackle panelist and Fox Footy reporter Jon Ralph revealed Geelong are a potential suitor for the 22-year-old.

Picture this:

Holmes gets his well-deserved flag, Dangerfield retires as a premiership captain and Wellsy chucks the Doggies pick 19 (or 20 depending on how many priority picks Carlton get) for Jamarrah.

Welcome to the Cattery, you good thing!

Jamarra is a campaigner who prefers to hang out with influencers like Mia Fevola (who dumped his ass) and party instead of training/working on his game

He is a loser and a flog and I don't want him anywhere near the Carlton footy club.

He is Toxic AF

Maybe I was too harsh on JUH, and I hope he gets his shit sorted and not piss away his amazing talent cause of off field behaviour.

Players like him (the party boys) have been what's systematically wrong at Carlton since 1995, and this is the main reason I think we should steer clear (even if we had the cap space)

The playing culture at the club has stunk for decades now, and we need pros and dedicated consumate pro footballers and people at the club like Cripps and Walsh and Boy George (Hewett)

Geelong have won of the best cultures in footy in the last 20 years, they can easily sort JUH out like they have with Steggles and probably Bailey Smith it seems

Nah, he’d fit right in at Carlton—overhyped, underperforming, and still living off someone else’s glory days.😂

Who wouldn't want to party with the Blose boys?

He kicks at goal just like Harry McKay, so he would fit in.
Too bad they don't have any players we'd want (apart from Curnow, SdK & Cripps) so they'd have to give us picks.
