Mitchell or Clarkson will be coaching us next year. Bank on it.
Board trying to do everything to keep their jobs. Finally giving the people what they want.
He and Malthouse - two of the biggest flogs to be associated with Collingwood.
Ditto with you as well.If Ross Lyon comes anywhere near our great club I will be devastated can't stand the bloke
Wait until they find out the new coach next year will pick some players that those posters don't like, will be seen to have 'favourites', and will mystifyingly refuse to completely bag themselves or the players in press conferences and instead will talk in platitudes about improving. They'll be furious.
There are always a few.I'm happily surprised how respectful the majority of people have been thus far.
Respectfully disagree on this one. Some incredibly disrespectful posts in the other Buckley thread on Buckley the person.Because even those who wanted him to step aside don’t hate him.
Going by the club email, I’m certain he got the tap from Graham Wright.I can't understand the timing of this. Has Bucks decided that he no longer thinks he has the support of the board? Is he over the uncertainty. I didn't think things could get worse. They just have.
He will absolutely be remembered for his contribution just like others before him. But If you cant see that he is a great ambassador for this mighty club and he has far more honourable traits than most before him then maybe you need to take off your blinkers. Don't underestimate how big a loss he will be.it’s not liked he volunteered. Most coaches are well paid above and beyond the average person in society. He’s been a great servant at the club like all our champions. Every player / coach has contributed to the club - all of them should be recognised including Bucks.
Rumour that the Jeff Browne ticket has sounded out Michael Voss for coach.
And the sad but good irony if it was Leppa to take us to a flag. A man (Bucks) that in 2002/2003 led us toward a flag vs a man (Leppa) that was a part of stopping us both times. Just can’t get away from those Lions if so.Leppa stepped away from the AFL this season.
A very impressive man in his segment with Whattttteeellllyyyy on SEN. Would love to see him involved in our club next season.
Current board obviously feel there's more votes in replacing Bucks than not - or think this move neutralises a potential advantage of Brownes push.
