Geez they make everything such a big deal when it’s Collingwood.

Anyone know more about this?
Rumoured to have been swerving all over the road, cutting off other drivers before colliding with a tradies vehicle

Numbers exchanged and Bruz got out of there.

Was unable to train because of the accident, other driver not hurt

Both cars minor damage

I heard he was watching a movie in the back seat whilst his pet monkey drove the car.

Interestingly, the movie was an adaptation called, ‘Every which way you loose, Melbourne.’

In this version, Clyde the monkey plays the part of Maynard, and knocks Brayshaw out with a giant banana 🍌

Maynard is reported to have found it highly amusing.

What time was training this morning? Was he running late and the swerving was maybe speeding to get to the club on time?

The vibe they are trying to give off is that he was under the influence and driving erratic.

Of course the media will be demanding to know/insinuating that he was drink driving. That’ll be the next step in this story.

I blame the tribunal. They gave him the all clear to crash into someone in his lane.

Pies are due an early season incident happens every year.

Making a joke out the type of driving described?

If it was (emphasis on the if there) he deserves the book thrown at him, as does anyone foolish enough to do the same.

Just out there selling candy, throwing in a blind turn here and there, contact was incidental, a footballing act.

Maybe a fine but I don’t think they’ll rub him out by the sounds of it.

it seems that maynard is likely to be sanctioned later this week for his driving .....and follows on from his charge late last year of brayshaw...

the series of events indicate maynard is off the rails and he is likely to be stood down under the players code of conduct. The club made a statement indicating that it wont tolerate bad drivers on the playing list.

The timing of this couldn't be worse, considering the club is already in crisis over the netball court incident.

Crisis!!
What have I missed??

And the insensitive decision to allow the men to train on the area that was the netball court.

I hope we make it to the start of the season without having a board spill....

I hope he was heading out at the crack of dawn rather than heading home on what was a training day for a Collingwood footballer.

If it was the latter I hope it was only a booty call.

Thankfully no one was seriously injured.

So far but the booty has yet to be interviewed.

We need that bio mechanics bloke, l'm sure there's a way to show that Bruz simply didn't have enough reaction time and that contact with the other vehicle was unavoidable.
