Why don't you think that?

Just a gut feel and the fact he still hasn’t nominated makes me think he’s waiting for the Dees to finish their season and probably wants instant success (finals etc) plus ‘maybe’ some instability in what’s happened with us.

I personally think we’ll play finals next year but the Dees might be a ‘safer’ option for him.

I wasn’t necessarily anti- Voss but more so feeling negatively about a process that I feel was disproportionately weighted towards prior experience.

I’ve listen to a few interviews and the presser today and I’ve got to say he handled himself impeccably. It seems he has a very clear vision for the environment he wants to create, and the way he articulated it I found to resonate really strongly, which is all we could expect today.

he’s off to a great start , hopefully he can round out the coaching team with some quality assistants. Onwards and upwards.

Watched and heard all the interviews Vossy did.Speaks very well, driving the player relationship big time and knows what he wants to get through to the players.

I think he may surprise a lot of people.Remember he was a Brownlow medallist, all Australian, captain and triple premiership player. You don’t fluke those achievements.

He will not be a walk up starter in the dees Midfield.

When I think Michael Voss, I think champion, three-time premiership player who was uncompromisingly tough. What he did after having his jaw spun by Scott Burns in that Grand Final is one of my all time favourite AFL moments.

If he can coach that sort of attitude into our playing group, we will win flags. I’m not convinced that what happened to him as the Lions coach is at all relevant to him now. He wasn’t a terrible coach then, FWIW and was given the job at 34. He’s been great as a Senior Assistant at PA, I think he’s ripe and ready for us.

If you’re unconvinced, check the Voss thread on the PA board. They seem to have preferred Ken leave, as opposed to Voss.

I’m pumped.
