I did that. Mods told me to just ignore it, whilst two of more of my posts copped laugh reacts and nothing happened to the posters.

Straight up bullshit behaviour/outcome. Not our board at all.
Not surprising from them either.

Carlton's board is notoriously a fascist dictatorship for opposition supporters on here.

Hold yourself to the standards you hold others...or something.

Think the original point was we consistently lose to mediocre sides, regardless of where we're at.

Even if we're 6-12th this year, we've traditionally struggled with the Saints, Blues, and Pies (when they were shit) in most seasons for over a decade. It's just how it is, and it often isn't a reflection of us.

It's not ideal, but I'd take it over the opposite.
Bingo.

We've played 2 genuine home games out of 7 and:

-Beaten 4th, 5th, 9th and 15th
-Lost to 2nd, 11th and 13th

4-3 from these 7 games feels about par for a 3rd-10th level team (which is likely the range we end up in). We need to do the business with our home games once they come at a relatively high frequency. The draw opens up as the year goes on.

No surprises to me , in the preview thread during the week i tipped Carlton by 3-4 goals , theve won by 3 goals and they were never ever going to lose today

I dont think Scott had a great week in the media , he complained about a few things re AFL , i didnt hear him say once , this upcoming Carlton game is a real danger game , we will be so pleasesd if we can just get the 4 points etc , and unfortunately 10 minutes into the 2nd qtr to me the game went completely to script and was as good as over

Geelong like most other sides carry some average/ordinary players , so if the better ones dont play really well then you will most likely get beat .

Yeah after our Easter Monday win over the Hawks, all week I just knew Carlton would win, how it played out today is exactly how I thought it would. Mauled in the midfield, turning the ball over resulting in Carlton scoring, and being fumbly all day.

Just with all our losses this year, all teams we’ve played against have held the ball well, hit their targets in transition and went to work on our best mids. When teams are able to have that uncontested footy against us we lose just about every game.

Next week I think we can match the midfield battle with the pies, but I fear their backline is going to monster our forwards and their pace up forward will likely cause our defenders major problems.

Midfield just isnt good enough, we will paper over cracks by beating bang average sides but when it comes to the crunch against truly elite opposition we just get smashed in there.

Maybe give his younger bro a go at it?
Same athletic traits and now same size too.
I mean we can't do any worse in there at the moment.

He can play there. But with Stewart unfit, moving Zac to the midfield means we lose that intercepting medium back. Robbing Peter to pay Paul. Maybe worth a go but it leaves our back six very inexperienced.

Rapidly losing faith that Neale will make the grade, forward craft is near enough to non existent and times where all you are asking for is him to compete he just jogs around in no mans land, how many goalless sub 10 possesion games is that now? Time to go back to the twos and find some touch.

When you make Nick Haynes and Jack Silvagni look like Prime Scarlett its starting to take the piss.

The season is looking shaky now. Stewart is clearly nothing like the player we know. Needs to get his body right. A midfield that relies too heavily on too few. And a bottom 4-6 who are just bog ordinary.
Love Stew but we are doing him no favours asking him to battle on with a knee thats clearly stuffed, he cops one knock and he can't move for the rest of the game, go get it fixed and give us a chance for him to be right in the business end.

Can't fault Stanley at all. He's bloody trying out there but he just no longer has the legs to go with some of these guys who are in their 'prime'. De Koning was almost roving his own taps. It's like having an extra midfielder at every stoppage
Id rather Stanley play ruck any day then SDK play ruck... SDK playing defence he looks so much better playing the position he plays best at in defence

Contact knee injuries are the worst, and how many games is he going down early and hobbled for the rest of it, either strap it up or get him cleaned up.

I wonder whether the club are waiting for J.Henry to come back and hoping Stewart can sustain no further damage till then? Tip him out for a month after he returns?

Kicked two goals but Dempsey was pretty dismal too.
Ive always thought he was a better asset playing as a forward, can stat pad every now and then on the wing but play him in the role he actually hurts the opposition, one of few guys weve got that can clunk a mark use it.

I'm starting to feel the same vibe... but I'm sitting on the fence as well

I almost don't want to bring this up, but, how do people feel about Bailey Smith's kicking down the line or into the corridor?
Feels loaded. Say more.

Just leave him close to goal where he has elite reaction times and can do freakish things.

He’s soft. There, I’ve said it.

That Stengle tackle on saad in the third quarter (I think) in the forward 50 ought to have been a free for insufficient. I think if this game were played again we could more than do enough to win. I’m not too panicked

We were smashing it out of the center in the last quarter when needed but whenever there was a 50/50 down the line or in our defensive 50 we couldn’t mark or halve the contest and that was more or less the game at that point

Speaking of corruption heard Cats being investigated for paying Selwood out of cap from 2012 to 2022.

Excuse me? Why don't you go back to your own f*cking board mate? Sick of you f*cks on here thinking you have free reign, while people can't say shit on your board with your gestapo mods. Basically like the double -standard of the umpiring in the 4th quarter, hey? Not surprised you can't see that.

Mods, I can't report every single one of these idiots. Can we please do something about this?

Stop feeding trolls looking for a reaction and they pretty quickly go away

Heard Carlton are being investigated for impersonating an AFL team in a final.
