It'll be interesting to see how Cochran develops. A rangy 195cms backmen with great endurance would be an interesting option if he develops well. Very different to Frampton, McInnes, Dean and the like.

Really like the look of him, but I see him more as a third tall unless he can add a lot of bulk to his frame. I also see Reef as a 3rd tall, just not quite big enough in height or frame.
would like us to find that key back that we can build the defence around for the coming years.

Solid tonight the chooka. Just doing the simple things, blocking for moore, makes DM play so much better.

Simple, defined role - doing it nicely so far.

Makes our backline feel a little more balanced IMO.

It's how it comes in. If it comes in predictably with a long kick to a contest, he's very good. If they hit up a 20 metre pass or change the angles and he has to re-position he can get a bit lost.

The protection he’s getting from up the ground is a dream for any defender. Loving his work at the moment.

Pressure on the ball up the ground is the key, just on Billy he is going alright just as he did before having to switch to ruck which he did well IMO.

This was my thought also. Looked like he was getting caught out of position and their big blokes were getting some easy looks.

Definitely tightened it up in the second half and was much better.
