I will be careful because I don't love trashing legends and Son is probably a spurs legend, or icon or whatever he is but he doesn't look good enough to start for everton anymore. If he was the player he was 2 years ago spurs probably score twice in that first half. I know Ange will probably keep playing him because if you lose Sonny you probably lost the dressing room but man he is so slow to any decision he makes now.

Something else that's widely lacking has been leadership. Genuine leadership. Even a "follow me" type on the pitch

Son is a nice guy but seems to lack the ability to come out and say it how it is. Why is Maddinson not paraded on media day to back the club, team, manager etc?

it is always the same media trained lines we hear. Hearing Grey after Tamworth say Geez, we should have been better was a breath of fresh air.

this had crossed my mind. Today's effort really showed how quickly his physical drop off has been

Richarlison has that grit on field, he was screaming at his teammates to press and get higher up.

Yeah, I literally trust him as much as Werner in 1-1s or shooting opportunities now and I'm not exaggerating. He got run down by James Tarkowski in the first half when he was clear on goal. Would absolutely never have happened a couple years ago

Im not making excuses and something else that continues to ponder, with how even the competition is, a new(ish) manager always has been a drop off. With us being that 4th - 8th team at best, the eveness off the premiere league and improvement in a number of "wow" teams (Nottingham Forest are third FFS, Bournemouth are 5th). we are where we deserve to be.

That drop off was always expected, maybe not to the degree it is happening but no one could have expected the improvement of Forest, Bournemouth let alone seeing Newcastle, Villa, Brighton continue to reinvest and continue on an upward trajectory.

I hope we stick with Ange is the fans seem almost on side still. The mindset of the club is changing. The we can beat anyone line is growing into our mantra. Maybe not at the moment because injuries, injuries, injuries etc. but people seem to realise the lack of genuine investment by Levy and lack of depth in the squad is what is hurting Ange.

Will be interesting to see if rumours are true and Ange has full backing of the board because geez I'd be tough being D.Levy right now

I dont trust Richarlions to put in a campaign worth. To get 10 goals from 30 games (all competitions) would be great but doubt it happens (if it has, well done, feels like it hasn't or won't at Tottenham)

Yeah, 15th is no where near good enough and it absolutely has to change but there's definitely some massive factors that can't be ignored
Squads been down 10 players regularly for like 2 months now. I don't care who's in charge that absolutely takes it toll and it's been 2-3 games every week now during that whole time. All the senior players are struggling because they're overplayed.
Up until last 2 weeks spurs were a handful of points off the top 7, absolutely no one can convince me that even half of the 10 being available most of the last 2 months and spurs couldnt have got another 6 points in that time and been top half and then this conversation is about a slightly underperforming team rather than a team that needs a new manager.

Guaran ****ing tee forest ain't in 3rd if their goalkeeper, 3 CBs, best 6, LB, winger depth and back up striker were all out for 5+ matches while playing 3 games a week some weeks on top of their best player going over the cliff in terms of age.

The last two games i think have shown some real worrying signs for Ange, and even though I've been saying it's coming and it's likely, for the first time I actually am now saying he has lost the plot and the group won't be far behind it. There is mitigating factors sure. But these few things I don't think you can come back from

1. The sitting back against arsenal and his dismay at it = players trying to do their own thing out there to get wins

2. Ange has only ever slightly tweaked things in 50+ games, today with 1 fit CB at the club he plays with 3 at the back = clutching at straws and undermining himself

3. Davies in the starting XI = desperation measure

4. The James Maddison situation. Hasn't started a game since his double at Southampton. Our VC is in some decent form but gets overlooked for Bissouma, Bergvall and Sarr regularly = always going to blow up in the managers face

Everyone who's read my posts of late knows I'm not a Dragusin long term fan and I'm a big Archie Gray fan. In the desperate pairing at RCB and LCB I think they've both defended as well as they can. With dragusin awful on the ball

Today as Gray moved to RCB, Dragusin to CB to accommodate Davies at LCB, I think it's fair to say both Gray and Dragusin looked like Fazio and Chiriches out there. Topkent FYI they were both awful

"It wasn't great the first half. I guess the majority of that is down to me. I changed the team and changed the structure. We had a couple of setbacks in terms of player availability and we struggled to get control of the game and allowed Everton to capitalise on that. Obviously at half-time we had a mountain to climb."

I'm sorry Ange, but your whole mantra and aura is its who we are, mate. Playing our way with 9 men and a backline that included Eric Dier setting offside traps at the halfway line when things were rosey. It was the braveness that was entertaining. It was the balls to stick to your convictions. But today you've just bent over and taken it to an everton side who can barely score!

Sacking Ange doesn't fix our injuries, we reset again and are woeful for 18 months while the new manager (probably 2 years because we will just have Mason again doing it til seasons end), gets the players up to his style of play. We have beaten by Man city and Man U away, we have had some good cup wins against full strength Liverpool. We can do it, we just been decimated by injuries.

Everyone should be piling into Levy and his refusal to spend money to help fix these problems in the short term and then give us some experienced leaders. Our leaders are falling away and now we have the bright young talent, need the older guys brought it.

I am Ange IN til he gets sacked. Our supporter base has some of the most miserable pricks going. One sign of drop, its SACK THE MANAGER every god damm time.

Don't get me wrong, I'm under no illusions sacking Ange turns us doesn't turn us into a force.

But not sacking him and 15th would be a good result. He has reached breaking point and second guessing himself. And got slapped by everton. Everton!

Leicester and Southampton the only two sides we are better than at this rate.

whats the timeline for guys coming back?

In particular our defence lol
Ange said coming weeks. Don't think it matters as it won't be an instant solve. It's not Fifa. They won't just hit the ground running at their 85 ratings. If anything they're as likely to play good as they are breaking down again
