Have we in recent memory been this exposed to a injury to our number 1 keeper? Or is this the nature of the position, depth at a keeper level is always the guy out to pasture and a kid.
We lost to lloris after a hospital pass by Lamela a few years back

We had that Argentine keeper who was quite solid for a while

Few years before that we had Pau Lopez as a 3rd choice and he has become a very solid keeper

He was brilliant against city but I don't think he's been incredible this year necessarily. It'll be with the feet Forster might get found out. He's a decent goalie.
Just like the Gala game, he made saves, but was a key part of why we couldn't move the ball.

Forster is 2/10 with the ball at feet
Dragusin is a 4
Davies is a 6

Compare that to

Vicario a 7
Romero a 9
Vdv a 7

We're desperately going to need Romero and VDV back into the lineup. I liked Dragusin the other day, but unless ange completely changes the way we play (doubt it), dragusin and Forster will be a nightmare

Maybe Austin or Whiteman get a go?

December is such a busy month it's going to be hard to get results against anyone in this period. Prior to the injury there were reports we were in for a new backup GK. Hopefully we can pull the trigger on Jan 1st!

It's too bad Chelsea are rivals they have about 10 GKs who could be loaned who are decent

Not nice.

Just normal.
What is normal? You could say being a phony with fake civility and niceness is not normal. You may not like me, that worries me little, but I'll be genuine with every interaction and say it as I see it. And my sig makes my attitude towards moderation crystal clear.

In any case, woeful call. IIRC from someone who not too long ago criticised the club (surprise, surprise) for having a no.2 GK that wasn't HG. Now he is HG and more complaints.

From what I've read Gray has played well at RB in cup games? The last page or so has Dragusin (our 3rd CB) getting praise, while on the left Udogie is backed up by ever reliable Ben Davies.

Weirdly I'm not that worried. I think under these circumstances, Ange will be forced to adjust his tactics slightly so that our makeshift backline can cope. Looking forward to seeing some backs to the wall type stuff.

Im one of Anges biggest defenders but that counter attack style only works when the other team wants the ball. Gotta figure out something a little different against smaller teams who wanna do the same back. Don't think spurs almost ever score headed goals, that's something they need to add against low blocks.

For all the talk of the dressing room divisions, Ange's ability to galvanise the group and play the way we did versus City cannot be under appreciated.

Players (and managers) can either get very defensive / edgy or galvanise the group. I know not all parties were present in the match (Romero, Bentancaur) but the ability to get the very best out of Vic, Udogie was sensational.

Tough draw as we have to play 6 League game against teams below us including the bottom team. Plus a poor United team in the Cup

Got my ticket for this weekend's game.

South stand, block 256. Going to be awesome being so close. Beers before and after going to hit differently.
How long in advance did you have to buy? Fixtures obviously not out but I'm going to London in December 2025 and wondering how hard it is.

I'm fortunate that my friend and his family are season ticket holders so one of them have had the game off to let me go.

My brother got one through stub hub like 2 weeks ago, also at the same game.

Alright cool, I did stubhub for US sports a lot more in advance so hopefully not too painful.
