Anyone take notice of the merch at Cavaleras? Anything worth getting?

I didn't get anything, but there's 3 shirts I noticed.

One has the tour promo image, with the setlist on the back (not sure which one, as there seems to be the odd change, i.e. Sydney got From The Past Comes the Storms, Melbourne got To The Wall). Schizophrenia artwork with some lyrics on the back. The tour date shirt has a sort of shattered image combining the 3 covers on the front.

After Mayhem last week, I gave Lords of Chaos a rewatch. I've now been prompted to get Necrobutcher's book. Can't find a new copy anywhere, and used copies are going for $400+. Ended up getting a lifetime digital licence to read it in the bookshelf app for just over $20.

Sounds like I'm spending some money.

eBay has it for around $170. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/375869779555

QBD Books may have it for $50. https://www.qbd.com.au/the-death-archives/jorn-necrobutcher-stubberud-thurston-moore/9781787601291/

A very good mate of mine is Head of English at one of Melbourne's bigger private schools. Confirmed with me this morning that not only does he have this in his collection but that it is "one of the best books I own". High praise.

Been exploring music with the boy all morning. Candlemass, Anathema, Behemoth (definite clubhouse leader) and Forgotten Tomb in particular.
Candlemass, Behemoth and Forgotten Tomb are all excellent choice

The good wife walked into the lounge last night asking me "How can there even be a thing called Suicidal Depressive Black Metal?. How is this even a thing?"

God bless her for even knowing it was a "thing".
I do like how they need to add the word 'depressive' after suicidal just in case you're doing it wrong.

HH order arrived. New Attacker, Dolmen Gate and Demon Bitch cds. Had been listening to them in the gym on Spotify but never forget how decent metal albums sound on a home system when on cd/lp. Attacker sounds massive.

Have slowed down since covid. Be around 6.5k.

Yep I've binged out on new Attacker a few times too, solid os-thrash/good songs, might have to pick up the disc.

How do you store all the CD's, & how much space does it take up?

Have cds in standard storage racking. Yeah takes up a fair bit of room but can accommodate it. Got a heap of vinyl as well (plus Japanese manga and metal shirts). Enjoy it so why not.

Yeah no doubt, I pulled out all my sports cards & old comic books from my parents house over covid. I have boxes of movies, DVD's & VHS tapes, a stack of old Vinyls, still under their house. Only my CD's, and some sports cards, I keep with me. Obviously I still use the CD's & got a new CD player/dig radio for Christmas this year. Was playing Overkill YOD today on it.

Are you talking about garage type racking for your CD's or is more narrow so you can see all the album names?

Book shelf type racking - you see the spine only.

Sadistic Intent - Resurrection lp. Picked it up from Bloodstorm at the Ivanhoe Pub on Saturday. Zombo from Rupture was there too. Told me FOAD are doing a 12 inch release of Baser Apes shortly. Killer ep that one.

Good score, always wanted to get my hands on some of their EP's.
