Very disappointed i had to miss that one, was at Race of Champions (a good night, even though I'm a not a huge racing guy. The lad loved it)

Hatebreed were good on Friday, setlist not what I was after bur still a good show.

Support band Vended were possibly the worst thing I've seen live in 10-20 years. Surely if you were Corey Taylor's kid you'd try a little harder not to be a 3rd-4th rate copy of him? Just embarassing

World Eaters - Hounds of Blood. disappointing for reasons I couldn't put my finger on then I listened back to their Grinding Advance EP from a few years back and realised it was far grindier/crusty and that yep, I do like them, I just don't like the nicer sounding recordings. Amazing how much the recording itself can win or lose you - so many bands that I have like 1 album or EP that I LOOOVE and then am 'meh' about the rest because there's just something in that snapshot of a moment that sounds like magic.

Problem is with the recommendations is I add them when I see a post, listen to the album a few days later and forget who recommended and CBF searching back through the thread, so whoever recommended the new Destruction album props, so cool to hear a band of veterans releasing such cool music.

Acid - Engine Beast. goddamn the demos at the end of the re-issue are soooo nice. The guitar that opens Heaven's Devils demo is putting in everything to try stake claim on crunchiest guitar tone and the drums at the beginning of the Hooked On Metal demo WOOOWEEEE!!!
