Not a fan of the white background, preferred the slightly grey one previously. Is the default text size also smaller? It seems that way as posts are harder to read now. I also preferred the quote boxes that we previously had.

What browser are you using? I am using Firefox and have an occasional 504 time out and the site is definitely slower than the older version but I do not appear to be having the problems you are experiencing.

Hopefully the issues many of us have are teething problems and will be sorted out over the next few days.

PS Looks like the home club button is not supported in this version? That feature was useful as you could get back to your home club page from anywhere on the site with one click.

Just using Google on mobile.

Have Firefox on laptop but not tried that yet.

With utmost respect I'll wait to give constructive feedback when you sort that 504 thing because its not a functional site until it is.

Today I was trying to check in periodically with the test cricket thread and I'd find myself pages off the pace, then whenever i tried to get to "newest post" up would pop 504. Was better of watching channel 7s shit commentary or worse, the live action .

Where's that thread pages box thing you used to have at the bottom of my mobile screen? Why cant i just go straight to the newest posts?

Yes - frustrating I know.

We continue to work on it. None of these problems were apparent during testing, so we're on the back foot a bit with it.

Will we be getting unread watched threads rather then just every watched thread?

I got an answer back and apparently - and I have not one clue why they did this - you need to go to New Posts and then filter for “Watched” and “Unread”.

I know. Unbelievable.

So as soon as we can we will fix that, but it might be a couple of weeks as we need to write an add-on.

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue but trying to type on a phone is reasonably laggy. The response time is a little offputting having to wait for like 5 seconds for it to catch up to what you have inputted into the phone keyboard. Don't have this issue anywhere else and didn't have it on the old server. Took me about 10 minutes to write a brief movie summary on the entertainment board.

This is an entirely new version of the software. The database is converted to the new system. There’s no going back. Only forwards.

My son can't read some text because it is too light for him. Text could be darker.
The way threads are displayed could be improved. At present the latest entry is shown at the end of the thread. Sometimes that means scrolling through lots and lots of pages to see the latest comment. The latest comment should be shown first in the list and if you need to catch up on things you can scroll back in the comments to find where you were up to.
It would save all of us users a lot of wasted time having to scroll past lots of old comments.
