Could I recommend that we keep trades/delistings open until just before the draft potentially? In the past we really only had the deadline for delistings so I had the time to get all of the lists entered into the new platform. That isn’t really an issue now and the keeper platform manages things well. We won’t really know until the draft starts if we can do live trading but that shouldn’t impact now on some teams that may still have delistings or another trade they’re considering. Thoughts?

Tens to agree why worry as long as deadline is Sunday night for trades to be processed for the Monday morning draft?

Agreed.

I was reading on keeper that trades don’t even need to be even, you just can’t change you lineup till your squad is 45 players again. This allows player for pick trades.

And changing the deadline a couple of days doesn’t advantage anybody.

I was reading on keeper that trades don’t even need to be even, you just can’t change you lineup till your squad is 45 players again. This allows player for pick trades.

In a live trade situation, or prior to the draft, everyone should have completed delistings though. We’ve had this discussion in the past. It would be unfair if, for example, I ended the draft with 48 on my list and then afterward dropped 3 players. Those 3 players should’ve been available to everyone during the draft.

Also this would punish the coach as well as they can only sign 5 players a season at 1 per round so this would ruin all flex.

Finalise all trades and delistings by midnight tonight. Next season we will have a much better understanding of how the platform handles these things

I think it should be 45 on list at start of draft and at end of draft pretty simple?

Have a look at the settings around in season additions and see if I’m reading it right.. it looks like the ability to limit to 5 additions per season is a “premium” option. Which means we may need to find a different way to run our waiver wire.

I think you are reading that right.

I can setup a tally around how many picks each person can use if needed.

Can’t see anything on a mid season draft tenderwarrior but I think we can look at something. I’ll ask the creator…
