The West is reporting that Jhye is not available but Josh Inglis is.

Yeah heard that, assuming easier to cover the bats if need be and Josh needs cricket anyway. Jyhe is so injury prone I don't blame them not allowing him to play.

Seems a bit strange. You’d think Richo is the least likely to play Boxing Day of the two.

In the case of a late out Inglis is the next batsman in and also the backup keeper, whilst I’m not sure Richo is the next bowler in purely because his body can’t be trusted for a full test yet. Would’ve thought getting short spells in the BBL would be good for him.

Jyhe is just as likely breaking down anyway he’s the next bowler in if a bowler goes down though

Common sense would say the Test squad is already in Melbourne so Richardson should be fine to bowl 4 overs, but that's an extremely rare commodity at CA.

Common sense would say that an injury prone bowler shouldn't risk injury three days before a Test match by playing hit n giggle cricket.
His chance of playing is slim to none and 4 overs is less than a Test spell. He'll do more overs than that in the nets.

What are the chances of him getting injured bowling 4 overs as opposed to training for the test side? Only risk would be in the field but he barely gets out of a jog and no chance he’s hitting the deck to field anything.

Have you not seen him get injured on repeat for the Scorchers? He’d get more out of a 2 hour bowling session in the nets anyway rather than bowling to sloggers for 4 overs

Done 4 VIC WBBL/BBL/International Stadiums this summer:
Docklands ✅
MCG ✅
CitiPower Centre ✅
GMHBA Stadium ✅

Havent attended a cricket game at the Docklands , only footy. Happy to check that off the box.

Jake Fraser-McGurk seems to rate himself as a soccer striker……in warm ups.

Also, I’m envious the Renegades have an arcade section.

Ground surface at Marvel looks like they had a music concert out here or an event of some sort. Definitely not in pristine condition.
they had Supercross motorbikes about 1 month ago, and they've had some Xmas thing but I don't think that was on the ground itself.

Speaking of motocross, they have a motorbike pre-game show. That shouldn’t be allowed on a cricket field. The bikes are going to cause burnouts on the grass.

I’m assuming this is a normal thing for a Renegade home game at the Marvel.
